DMBLive Vinyl (Benaroya & Academy)

I think it would be great if DMB did a vinyl subscription. There’s many ways they could go about doing it.

For example...

-Pay for subscription up front beginning of the year.

-Subscribers vote on which shows are released

-Three to four live boxsets a year (Not including any RSD, 20th Anniversary releases etc.)

-Each boxset comes with a poster for that show

Just a few ideas. Do I think this is going to happen? Probably not but I would sign up for it no doubt.

love this idea in theory... like the subscription gave you the rights to buy 2 of the 4 vinyls per year.

Assuming theres still a market for vinyl at the time, I could only see this happening after the band has hung it up.

I'd definitely pony up for a vinyl subscription. That'd be really cool. Something like the Third Man Vault subscription. That way you could opt out each quarter but it's still very accessible.

$63 shipped for 6 LP’s and the bonus disc. Can’t beat that.

The academy show is cool but the crowd noise is so loud. Trying to decide if this is worth ordering or if I should just stick with Benaroya.

Still might pick them up. Just a heads up to those who haven't heard it. A real shame considering the acoustic nature of the show.

Yeah I thought about picking it up also but the crowd noise is deeply off-putting. Maybe if they cleaned it up a bit it would be good to have on vinyl.

You mean June 27th? I wouldn't put it past WH to make you wait 2 months after the official release date to get these though.

Got a delivery date update from Amazon for the standard black vinyl of the new album; July 5th.

Still nothing from MusicTomorrow. I'm not expecting it to get here until mid-July

Yeah, I was surprised by the Amazon date. I thought it was Prime eligible, so I was expecting it to come on Monday.

Amazon will give it to me on release day this Friday for $3.99 S&H but I won't be home so no point, lol.

I'm a Prime member so I get 2-day shipping and generally they get titles delivered ON release date; so I'm wondering if there's another week of delay that wasn't announced for the black vinyl (someone said their WH pre-order had shipped and I'm assuming that's White vinyl, and someone said their target exclusive pre-order shipped)

Ya.... I'm guessing this is why the album price was so cheap. They knew it was going to be delayed and then delayed again . Having it stream for 3 weeks before the vinyl gets released must kill sales.
