Thanks, couldn't remember if that was the case.

Finally getting around to listening to the Trax show. It's amazing how good it sounds. I'm not sure why I'm so surprised by the quality of the sound but it's really impressive. Show is pretty good and enjoyable but the clarity is the real standout to me.

Both of my vinyl stuck in transit with USPS. So hopefully they’ll arrive some day.

It's funny hearing people saying that. I've never had issue with USPS. USP on the other hand....never gotten a package that wasn't an issue with them.

I’ve never gotten a package from USP. They’re the worst!

I’ve had issues with all three but USPS has always been the worst for me because of their tracking system. I’ve had packages sit “in transit” for over a month. When you call USPS to ask about it they go “Oh no, honey. Your package isn’t lost, we just don’t know where it is right now because it hasn’t been scanned. I’m sure it will show up soon.”

UPS had me pick up a package from a distribution center once because they couldn’t get in my neighborhood’s parcel lockers. That consisted of walking into a security guard’s little hut, him dialing a number on a landline and handing me the phone to tell some random voice my address. TWO HOURS LATER a woman walked over with my package.

Exactly! See they don't even deliver your packages. No telling how many of those had to be saved by FedEx & USPS. All those times USPS said your package was "in transit" was because they were rescuing it from the evil clutches of USP.

I'll try to get them added if I have some time tonight. Just have to add it to the master release

Just got around to listening to Trax and the sound on these are amazing! I was blown away by how great it was. Might the best $34 dollars I've spent in a while- can't wait to spin the Dave and Tim one next

While listening to my copy of Prism I notice Dave's voice is "clipping" a lot when he reaches certain higher/louder notes. Not sure if clipping is the right term but it's almost like he is too close to the mic and there is some feedback. However I don't really hear it on the digital version. Does anyone else have this issue or could it be the vinyl/bad pressing?

It could be a few things. Is it most notable in 'S' sounds? Could be sibilance and/or inner groove distortion (IGD). Either of those can be a result of a bad copy or turntable calibration.

It's not most notable on the 'S' sounds. Pretty much any time he sings in a higher/louder pitch.

It's the only album in my collection that does it, but it does it on all 4 vinyl records. So I'm not sure if its a bad copy (of all 4 records) or if its my TT/speakers

Messed around a little with the tonearm calibration and it definitely helped. The clipping is still there a little (no where near as much as before tho) so maybe I need to look at it again tomorrow, but thanks for the advice

Out of curiosity, what kind of turntable do you have?

Just got this in the mail and am having the same issue through the first couple of songs. I saw that you messed around and fixed it slightly, but any other updates?

Too close to the mic and some feedback is exactly how I'd describe it as well.

Fixed it slightly but it is still very much there. Its strange because its the only record in my entire collection that does this. I am thinking about emailing the warehouse and asking for a replacement copy

People could grab each for less than $110 on Discogs right now (and get the 7" included), just as an FYI

Yeah I'm pretty bummed about it. I just emailed the warehouse so we'll see what they say/if they send me a new one.

I get this too, only on the end of Seek up and parts of Tipping Billies particularly right at the start of Boyd's solo. This is the only record in my collection this happens on.

    Setup -

Technics SL-DD33 (leveled and tracking force check w/stylus scale)
    LP Gear CFT4PSE cart
    Pioneer SX-737 receiver
    Klipsch R-51M

I played it on my second set up and have the exact same issues at the same spots. (Same cart, Technics SL-23 and a Pioneer SX-770)

Re: Black Friday Record Store Day 2018: Prism '93 and C'Ville '94

I just opened my RSD white vinyl of the trax show last night and noticed some of the records had a blue stain/smudge on them. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions as to best way to clean it off? I am still waiting for my table to arrive so i dont know if it affects playback or not.
