Yes, so I realized I was comparing my two night last year to three nights for 2020 so I was off somewhat...with that said though, my reservation for The Inn last year for Fri and Sat night was $370 total. This year it is is $740.

For any Marriott folks, I booked 2 nights at the Residence Inn using a points and cash combo of $210 + 30,000 points. Just points would be 60,000 total and cash only puts the rooms at over $400/night after tax so not a bad deal at all with the combo.

More than likely Alpine will be 4th of July weekend based on history but you never know. I do know that Alpine season ticket holders are guaranteed 6 shows this year vs 5 in the past few years.

IF Saratoga Race Course stays as the same format this year as it did last year (2 dark days). Opening day for the track would be July 16th to get to closing day being on Labor Day.

I think the hotels for SPAC are basing pricing off of last year's track season. Supposedly they opened early because of work being done at Belmont, so horses and races moved up north. As such, this shouldn't happen in 2020, but if they know DMB's coming (or even assuming), they'd have little incentive for lowering prices...

Spac hotels are a main reason I give up going.
Outside of the ticket issues, you can do multi shows for less due to the rates so unless I can get good tix it’s just not worth it to me

Fuck SPAC hotel prices. I’ve gone the last 2 years and had a freaking blast and doesn’t look like I can go in 2020 bc hotel prices are stupid. Sometimes I hate capitalism

This is just a guess, but I think it'll be fairly standard.

35-40ish shows in mostly the same markets and sheds. Gorge, Creek, WPB, Camden, probably Alpine all get multiple nights. Maybe 1 more 2 nighter. Smaller venues in some markets. I doubt Florida gets 5 shows next year. Price point will stay the same and most places probably a % point or 2 from previous years.
