I think I counted ‘21 correctly, could be more.
I actually have a screenshot for 2021 for the first four shows Raleigh - Tampa. I took it as I went to those four and wanted the quick stats to look back on. Now i can't find it. BUT, I remember I was impressed in 2021 more than other years )Which isn't saying a lot) I also remember saying on the forums that the opening leg post covid definitely seemed more exciting than previous years.

I'll try to find the screenshot.

Re: I don't know about you, but I'm feeling '22 (tour chat)

My favorite thing about '22 is the disparity between the Ants reactionary takes vs. Reality.

Ants: *sees satellite and can't stop on setlist* Omg these shows having brutal runs of clunkers.

Reality: same setlist goes on a run of dreaming tree> nancies>SUAD>stay or leave>crush. Midset two step a little later.

Ants: Omg this show is definitely gonna be rough. SMLAM encore for sure!

Reality: Show ends on a liberation and SMLAM hasn't been played in '22

Ants: These repeats are so brutal we've never seen this before. Can't see myself rating this show well!

Reality: setlist has less repeats than fan favorite sets from '21 and show ratings are in the double digits.

Warehouse has been played every single show, with both intros, before Nancies, segueing out of Nancies, opening, and closing.

    So. Freaking. Awesome.

I really liked the Time Bomb/Warehouse combo in Atlanta last night for the encore, much nicer than having Time Bomb close it out.

Warehouse is one of those few songs that truly belongs at every single show and will never get old imo

One of my top show moments ever. Warehouse is king. Start the show with it and end it with a reprise is something I would love to see.

Finally listened to Break For It all the way through from the Woodlands show. Dang man...that's the kind of DMB I want to hear. Nice loose playing and jams. Something that seems to be contributing is letting Jeff play freely anywhere he feels is fitting. That was some Roi-like playing. It seems like Jeff has been so confined to playing as a horn section and less free to play the way Roi did. And I don't mean he should sound like Roi, but Roi played when he knew there was a place to add his voice to the song. The band seems to be playing off each other more and more and THAT, my friends, is the essence of DMB.

Me again…anyone listen to this Lakewood, Dreaming Tree??? I was just sitting in the patio enjoying and holy smokes if that didn’t sound like Roi on the whistle. Keep the Jeff coming! We got the third verse of Grey Street back. Bring back the #41 sax solo!!!!

May be in the minority, but I was excited to see time bomb come back. Was hoping for a little more out of it considering it popped up as the encore closer. I feel like the song has potential to be a monster live, they just haven’t gotten there. Really like them to extend the end of the song, and I know it’s not Dave’s style but I want to see him go full angry at the end “I WANNA BELIEVE IN JESUS” smash his guitar on the stage and walk off . . . That’s the time bomb encore closer I want

I think the tour has been generally pretty good in terms of setlists, the main sets more than the encores, feel like it needs some additional songs that are loved by most people to be added on to the rotation as they go through this Florida swing

Last year they broke out some tour debuts as late as the indoor Ohio shows and the Gorge/Denver seem to have a shot at it as well and those are late tour.

Entering the 9th inning on Saturday and DMB is pitching a perfect game hasn't given up any Bayou's. Also no Everday's as well which is great.

There have been at least 2-3 shows people have been dooming that a SMLAM encore is coming and it hasn't even been played yet. People were SURE Come Tomorrow was going to get shoved down their throats yesterday because of the Texas thing. The '22 tour delusion syndrome is a real thing.

Have you ever considered taking a break from the boards? Seems like reading other people's thoughts and opinions really takes a toll on you.

So considerate of you to be considering my mental state reading the boards. I'm sure you really care deeply about me! Have you ever considered trying to be less patronizing?

This is the internet, I fully understand the situation here that people enjoy jumping on people's backs around here over opinions they take as fact. Next time you wanna make a post like that maybe just skip it, wastes space on real discussion on the tour.

Agreed - Typical Situation, Recently, Tripping Billies, Jane, Best of What's Around, Lie in Our Graves, Stay, Crash - all songs that aren't super rare and could liven up setlists by being more in rotation this tour

This reply doesn't do you any favors to convince me your not being patronizing.

My signature is just examples of the goofy shit other people say reacting to me stating my subjective opinion on here, mostly beginning around my takes on the '21 tour and now apparently being one of the few that sees the improvements they've made in '22. I don't really care if other people don't see it or just want to give me shit cause they don't like me, I'm still going to point out peoples nonsense and fling the shit right back if they obviously just trolling. At the end of the day when you look at the almanac it will speak for itself on my points.

All I see is someone having super overblown reactions to non-existent reactions to songs that weren't played.

So far this tour has been on-par with what I come to expect from 2018-present DMB. Not thrilled, not disappointed. It's a B+ tour thus far.

Pretty simple stuff, couldn't care less about rarity, and when the do bring back certain songs like a Cry Freedom I don't get excited because it's rare I get excited because it's great.
