A handful of thoughts about a handful of interesting shows:
10.25.1996 - nice show, lowest rarity for Fall 96 with Cry Freedom, #36, IBYU and fun Dave improv on Graves, maybe superfluous to needs.
8.14.1998 - this show rules, buried in a forgotten killer month for the band. Mitch Rutman guests on Wynona, showpiece Say Bye, Last Stop, Nancies, Warehouse Stone, DDTW run
9.12.2000 & 9.13.2000 - The dream release: 9.12 - 9.20.2000 boxed with 9.4.2000 bundled with Warehouse pre-orders. Tell me you love me DMB. That said our next 2000 or Bela show is likely not coming for a few years
5.11.2001 & 5.12.2001 - I think these are interesting shows. the last two five-man shows in the history of the band and there's a lot of unique sound in these two shows - Stefan and Carter on Waste is neat. I think the announcement thread would burn. Night 1 better than night 2, but the night 1 tape was always way better and got more play. I like the fun long WTWE intro night 2. Sort of feel like "Last Five Man Show" could be a reason it gets released in the early 100s. They do that.
5.4.2002 & 5.5.2002 - DMB had a a full-tour tour debut streak coming into this weekend, debuted nothing, and the shows still ruled. Great shit. It's been a while since I listened, but I remember them being really well-balanced flowing shows like one continuous 5.5 listen. No repeats over the two nights, sort of a new thing in the DMB world at the time.
9.21.2007 - killer show top to bottom. DMB were back at their best, late Fool liberation > Dreaming Tree. I could go a while without another 2007, and I think I'd want one from the next week, but still great.
