Some stand out tracks and some meh tracks. The dream pop stuff kind of took me by surprise but I like it. I had fallen so in love with the acoustic versions of Fire/Fear and Gone that these versions are taking me awhile to warm up to. I think this album will translate well live, can't wait to see them in two weeks.

Kendall I know, my username is super confusing

I thought the first few songs were good, the middle of the album all sounded the same, and then Gone is just an incredible piece of music. I think it's one of their best songs to date.

I'm having difficulty keeping track of which song is which since the stream just runs straight through, I'm on Let's be still right now though and have really enjoyed this so far.

It was from something called the Fuel/Friends Chapel Sessions from March of 2012. It had Gone, Fire/Fear, an untitled song that is awesome that I wish was on the album and an alternate version of Honey Come Home. I can pm you them if you'd like, it's pretty good stuff.

There's a great acoustic Josh Mcbride on their doe bay sessions on youtube. I'm pissed oh virginia and "no one to let you down" didn't make the album. Also, Charity is such a glaring weak spot in this band imo. If you replaced her with the girl from the Lumineers, THATH would be leaps and bounds better.

Also, Jon Russell has some solo songs that are better than a lot of the album.

I like the album, but holy fuck what do these guys have against quicker paced songs? They've slowed all their old songs to a crawl at their live shows, with Cats and Dogs being the most egregious offender, and this album continues in that manner.

Someone get these guys some blow or something.

I've come around. I am liking this album a lot. I still think Jonathan should sing lead on every song and Josiah/Charity should stick to harmonies, but overall this is a solid sophomore effort.

yeah after listening to this album a few times i just can't get into it, i think it's overall pretty flat. no standout tracks, they all kind of just blend together. very slow tempo

    oh well

The whole mp3 album is on Amazon right now for $0.69. I think it is a price mistake, but I was able to get it at that price.

Anyone have them opening up at the Gorge this year? I think they played the same set all three nights and I'd love to get some audio of it.
