What are you thinking for check-in/check-out? I was thinking about coming in Thursday and leaving Tuesday and maybe camping a Sunday and Monday night if possible.

I would by flying in Friday and out Sunday. I am volunteering so I need to get to the venue around 3-4pm each day.

I haven’t thought about transportation at all honestly. Figured either grab a shuttle, assuming there is one, Uber, or Turo.

I just checked out rooms and it looks like the Tech Center Hyatt is legit and only $122 a night. Not sure on relative location to everything though so let me do a little more research. Anyone familiar with the area input would be appreciated.

Getting around denver is fairly easy. The hyatt tech center you mentioned is a nice hotel and fairly close to the venue. I don't recall much as in the way of a bar scene around it as it is in the tech area of denver but I could be wrong. Stuff popping up everywhere these days. If you stay there or downtown you can take the light rail to the venue, cheap way to go and it drops you off right at the venue. Just be aware when the show is over mass amounts of people will be getting on the light rail so it will be full. Like i said though if you stay downtown the rail goes from downtown to the venue. I am not sure on cost so you can always look at the rail vs uber. The light rail also goes from the airport to downtown Denver. Check out the link for prices and where the rail goes.

Night 1 was the worst show I've ever seen.


I can't justify only going to night 2 because.. well it's DMB. You never know...

I don't think I would use the euro shows to determine what the summer will be like.

We were buried for days, I live out in Elbert County. Literally couldn’t leave our house for 2 days due to road closures, accidents and snow drifts.

Seems like the hardest show to get pit tickets for other than SPAC. I've seen Alpines and Gorges pop up here and there, but not a single Fiddlers. That being said, I'm still ISO! Have cash or a Wrigley Ivy poster I'm open to trading.

I just tried to attend Florence + The Machine at RR on Monday. It snowed and was miserable. They made her get off the stage after only 1 hour. Leaving the venue and driving back to the airport was one of the most scary snow driving experiences I have ever had. Wrecks all over the place, no way to see lanes, and it was Star Wars full lightspeed.

I'm not a fan... but it's only a quick google to see that Red Rocks fans really got hosed over the course of those two nights. Maybe the first night was on the staff, but the second shortened show should have gone on with a full setlist. If you're not willing to play in the cold or the snow, don't play a show at Red Rocks in May or late September-October.

What happened the second night? How much snow actually fell?
I attempted to sleep in my rental and I woke up freezing every half hour. Got to the airport at 4 something in the am and it was a madhouse. Such a shitty trip.
