Kaboo won't sell out. I don't think they're going to take away ticket sales from it by announcing another show. It's a bummer that there is only 1 show south of the Bay Area, and it's a festival show.

I guess it's part of the post-Irvine Meadows existence. They don't want to play Hollywood Bowl every year, and there are no other venues that are a good fit.

They used to do both Chula Vista and Irvine though... now they’re doing neither.

The Forum is a great place to see a show. It’s indoors in the summer, but still a great venue

I would love for KAABOO to announce who else is playing on Saturday.

From the KAABOO site: "At this time, single day passes are not available. Single day passes may be available shortly before the event, if passes are not sold out"

I'd be all over this if it happens.

How ridiculous. So if you live in So Cal, and want to be assured of seeing their ONE show this year, it will cost you a 3-Day Pass, whether you want to see the other days performers or not. Having just seen them at Jazz Fest, it would have been an insult if I had been required to go the entire weekend in order to do so. I did, but that was by choice, so it's a slap to the Southern CA fans that they decided to go this route.

I fully expect they'll sell 1 day passes eventually, and they'll probably be much, much higher than the $80 face value that 1-Day Jazz Fest tickets were.

$365 after fees for a 3-Day Pass. If there are 1-Day tickets, I can't imagine they'll be less than $150 after fees.

It's not really that much more than a regular ticket would be. The problem is all it gets you is General Admission, so your view and/or sound may suck. Then it's only a good deal if there are other acts you want to see that day, since you're not getting a full DMB show, you're getting 2/3rds a show at best.

I'm actually most concerned about after the show ends. For anyone planning on going down from L.A., it's normally a 2 hour or more drive back, and that's without adding in getting out of the lot, and dealing with traffic going up the 5 freeway late Saturday night.

Agree - totally depends on who else is playing Saturday. If it's not enticing, $150 for GA to see a short (lackluster) set is probably not worth it, IMO.

And $150 sounds about right based on last year's single day passes: https://www.sandiegouniontribune.com...612-story.html

They were released, along with the daily line ups, on June 12th.

there's no way in the world i'm paying $150 to see this version of this band, with a festival set list, at the end of the tour, in GA seating. i dont care if the closest show we get. sucks that it's come to this.

the kaboo website has been updated with dates this month that single day passes will be on sale. glad this option will be made available...here's to hoping it's not something absurd like $150.

Where's that posted on their site? Still seeing the same "may become available" verbiage as before.

And yes, tickets will be $150 for the base level, assuming it's the same as last year.

Edit: Nevermind, I had to clear my cache/go in Incognito mode on Chrome lol.

Daily lineups and presale for single day passes is July 15th. Public sale is July 18th.
