Looking at the schedule of events for the Greek in LA, there is an opening 9/8-12. Last time they played the Greek they announced them late as added shows, so here's to hoping since it's easily my favorite venue in the LA area.

    Incorrect. When they played the Greek in 2016, they announced it with the rest of the summer tour dates...

    They did not play the Greek Theatre in L.A. in 2016. The chances they will ever play there are ZERO! Capacity is 5,870.

    Correct, they did not play there in 2016. They did play there on 9.9.09 & 9.10.09.

    The shows were announced on June 10, 2009.

    The only times they've played there. Again, the dates line up, so one can only dream.

    That's what I said two posts ago. See post #64 on this page.

    09.09.09 & 9.10.09 - Greek in LA

    Announced June 10, 2009. As in, later in the year after the summer tour was well underway.

    This year, they don't have any shows scheduled from 9/8-9/12, and the Greek in LA is available those same days.

    What am I wrong about?

    Unless there is a plan to drop a quick LA show after KAABOO, say around the 16th or 17th, I would think KAABOO is it. The drive from SF to PHX is about 11-12 hours, so I don't imagine they would roll down for a show in LA between those two dates. Then they have to get across the US to See.Hear.Now on the 22nd, so anything after KAABOO would have to in the first few days after KAABOO to give the crew time to get across the US.

    Lol that Kaaboo lineup is one of the most random lineups I’ve ever seen. Everyone from DMB and Mumford to Snoop and Wu-Tang, Plain White T’s and Lifehouse, and REO Speedwagon. So so random.

    It’s great. Last year Earth Wind and Fire, Billy Idol, The Wailers, Cake, & a few others were some highlights. Only issue is leaving at the end - traffic is a nightmare.

    Kaaboo actually looks like a lot of fun based on the lineup. Definitely better than a lot of the garbage most festivals this year are putting out.

    I'm on the wrong coast for Kaaboo, but I'm really hoping DMB gets Xavier Rudd to guest on some songs with them. The didgeredoo on DDTW and other songs in amazing!
