Honestly, I love the band's music but their actions sometimes contradict their words. Dave always criticizes Clearchannel, claiming it "will crumble under its own weight" yet DMB is more of a corporation than nearly any other band besides KISS. The amount of shit they sell with their name on it, the ticket prices, the rip off fanclub etc is just frustrating as hell coming from this "humble" Virginia band.

I know Dave gives to many charities, how about giving back to the people that made his career, the fans. Or do I need MS to get a break? Time to stop worrying about the bands likness being sold on T shirts if they arent worried that OAR has been ripiing off their likeness on a career.

I agree with you said, but I don't really understand this part

I am saying that OAR has songs that sound liek they looked in the recycling bin of dave matthews scrapped work. yet they let them open up for them. Fans make t shirts that they think is cool because, I dont know, they dont want to spend $30 on a shirt that shrinks to a small, and they are concerned about their likeness

honestly, i'd write to Dave on twitter about it and ask him if there's any way he and the band can have some say in it. He might not reply but it would at least let him hear the plea of a fan and he might say something about it eventually.
