I joined the Warheouse to watch the Dave & Carter studio performance (awesome). I was wondering if there is a way to access all the previous Warehouse live releases? If so could someone steer me as to where?

I'm pretty sure the idea is you only get the Warehouse discs from years when you're subscribed.

Mine came in May, and I was a February renewal.

EDIT: Nevermind... didn't backread. I didn't think they usually announced the package until January.

EDIT #2: It was announced on 12/20 last year.

Announcing The 2021 Warehouse Track List & Warehouse Member Package Information

The 2021 Warehouse track list is The Warehouse Session in its entirety; a special performance by Dave & Carter from the Haunted Hollow Studio which was a recent video stream to Warehouse members only. The 2020 annual Warehouse 8x10 photo was taken by Sanjay Suchak at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on February 28, 2020, and is available now for download. Click here.

In line with Dave Matthews Band’s mission to minimize environmental impacts, the Warehouse member package is 100% digital in 2021 and future years. The annual exclusive music and photo will be downloadable only. In lieu of a gift item, Warehouse members will receive one DMB concert download per year. We will ship the 15 year commemorative Warehouse ticket album to members that joined in 2006 while supplies last. Lastly, we will continue to ship the 20 year Warehouse poster in 2021 to members that joined in 2001.

The performance is incredible and this would be really cool in a day and age where everything isn't ripped. As it stands though its a bit underwhelming because most of us have the tunes saved already.

Yeah, I swear I had a feeling this was gonna happen. Kind of a cop out in my opinion. I would imagine almost everyone on the boards has this... nevertheless it is a great performance, just don't think the quality is gonna be that much/any better than the rips of it we already have...

Also, what does "In lieu of a gift item, Warehouse members will receive one DMB concert download per year." mean exactly because I'm interpreting it as I can download a DMB show I attended during that tour year... or is that wishful thinking? Like I hope it doesn't mean I can download a live trax show for free once a year....

There's no chance that the show download will give you the option to select a show from the tour. It will absolutely be like the 7/24/2018 show.

And look, go green and all that but there's zero chance that was the primary motivating factor in not shipping CDs. Zero. But whatever makes people feel better.

The Dave & Carter show is great and I'd actually love to have a physical CD of it since it's by FAR the best DMB-related anything in YEARS. Not surprised at all that it ended up being the WH release this year. I wish it were a physical release, but still glad it's getting released. So going forward, I wonder if there are no additional tracks for long-term members.

Oh well.

The Dave & Carter performance was simply fantastic so I can't be annoyed that it is getting officially released. Hopefully they'll release some sort of high-res artwork along with it.

With last year being all 2019 tracks and this year being a session from 2020, I think the days of Warehouse discs being cool archival gems might be over. Bummer.

I have to imagine next year will presumably be a selection of songs from whatever shows that Dave or the band is able to play in 2021.

Lmao this lazy as shit. Its like... they (management, Dave, Coran, whoever, etc.) consistently ALWAYS choose the absolute worst/laziest possible outcomes for everything... like:
-stopping the vinyl re-releases before hitting BTCS
-replacing the violin with an organ
-bringing back Batson
-putting Can't Stop on an album (over Shotgun... or literally anything else)

Nobody joins the Warehouse for a package or CD. You join to get tickets. I'm fine with this. There are a lot of members who have no idea how to get on Dreaming Tree and download this show, so it'll be a nice treat for them.

What I'm worried about for the future as both an environmental concern and a COVID safety issue, is the discontinuation of printed Warehouse tickets. I LOVE my printed tickets (not only do I have every DMB show I've been to - I have every sporting event, concert and movie stub I've ever been to) and if they go digital only, hopefully they give people access to a printable Commemorative ticket for saving (like Pearl Jam does I think).
