What the shit? Cool man? haha, ok...man. Just don't come in here and say Taylor is easily the best acoustic. Like someone said, that's a very limited opinion. Honestly, I understand you probably like to dabble with playing guitars but please. Taylor's do play the easiest out of most big manufacturers, if that's what you were shooting for?

Anyways, I am jealous of you guys that are getting this. I hope everyone is playing theirs.

The expression system is only really good for strummy strum strummers in tone and definitely not for Dave's style as it does not cut through a band mix, it just sits in it. So plugged in it will not sound anything like Dave's guitar.
You can order one without the ES if you'd like. After all, Dave did.

I'm not too knowledgeable on acoustic pickups but I was looking to around and stumbled upon this Fishman pickup. Has anyone ever tried it?

Beautiful guitar! I think the aging toner is a particularly nice touch. It looks gorgeous.

That's not a signature guitar. The DM3MD was a signature guitar. This is a 914c(e) with Dave's name on it.

I have both and i can tell you it’s definitely a signature guitar.

The Taylor uses Sitka, the Martin is Engelmann. I think the Sitka pops a little
    Brighter than the Engelmann

How about his 99 914? Btw I do agree Sitka pops a bit more.
