Love this song. The simplicity of those repeating chords, and that huge buildup. I may be biased as a piano player. You can do a lot with those 4 chords. Then the rawness of Dave's voice (live versions), layered with Boyd's melody and Carter pushing it little by little. There's so much power and emotion in this song.

I can listen to the LT9 & LT10 versions all day. 10 minutes of building power. I know it's not much of a song lyrics wise, but this is a top 5 DMB song for power and emotion in my opinion.

Fantastic way of putting it. Whole heartedly agree. But agree with a previous post that the presence of a vocal coach basically eliminates this being played as a full song anymore. At least we get a taste of it in Lying in the Hands of God.
