I love when Jerry sees through Kramer's bullshit , like here when Kramer says he's going to build 'levels' in his apartment:

KRAMER: It's a simple job. Why, you don't think I can?

JERRY: Oh, no. It's not that I don't think you can. I know that you can't, and I'm positive that you won't.

KRAMER: Well, I got the tools. I got the pillows. All I need is the lumber.

MORTY: Hey, that's some big job.

JERRY: I don't see it happening.

KRAMER: Well, this time, this time you're wrong. C'mon. I'll even bet you.

    JERRY: Seriously?

HELEN: I dont' want you betting. Morty, don't let him bet.

KRAMER: A big dinner with dessert. But I've got till the end of the month.

JERRY: I'll give you a year.

KRAMER: No, no, no. End of the month.

JERRY: It's a bet. (They both "pinkie swear" to lock the deal)

Kramer: Jerry, I have an announcement! Your grandmother is on the line!

    Jerry: My Nana?!

Kramer: And at this very moment, she's generously writing PBS a check for $1500!!

Uncle Leo: What? She can't do that! She's on a very fixed income!! STOP THE SHOW!!!

George Costanza is the single greatest character in television history

It's funny - after you see Curb and you see Larry David with his antics, it's only then do you realize just how much of Larry is in George. You never really knew that before Curb went on the air.

    This.

I also don't think people realize how much Jason Alexander isn't like George Costanza (or Larry) at all in real life. He acts totally different when out of character, he did a great job a playing the affable loser character.

Larry David does not get the credit his genius deserves. The guy has completely reinvented the sitcome genre TWICE, first in the 90's with Seinfeld and again in the 2000's with Curb.

I assume most people who are big Seinfeld fans also watch Curb, but if you don't, you owe it to yourself to check it out.

It's also fun to look and listen for Larry making appearances in random Seinfeld episodes. He's the Steinbrenner voice, and basically any time in the show that there's a voice coming from off screen, whether it's the dialogue from movie screen in a theater scene, or someone yelling something from offscreen, it's Larry. You can also catch him as the 'man in the cape' meeting with Frank Costanza on the street, the newsstand worker who tells George "Sorry your majesty, but we don't accept bills with lipstick on the President.", and one of the crowd standing outside Kramer's door when the cops show up there in 'The Trip'.

I know! I never paid attention to that before Curb cause I didnt really know who he was. But it's so much funnier when he appears in Seinfeld after you know who he is.

"Attention Play Now employees: George Costanza’s handicapped bathroom is now open on the sixteenth floor to all employees and their families."

    "Well played."

"I’ll see you in hell, Costanza."

I always loved that scene so much from "The Voice" episode. One of the best of the whole series.

That's one of my favorite episodes. It's George at his best. I still wrestle with which is the better character between George and Kramer.

It's a touch call for sure, but Elaine is actually my favorite of the four. She is so hysterical, and she more than holds her own with the guys.

Does anyone know why he left the show? Did he have a falling out with Jerry?

Believe he left after season 7....I don't think there were issues between him and the cast (they all have appeared on Curb..)

The Contest is my favorite episode....at least Top 5.

Larry hated running the show. He wanted to quit after every season, but NBC was always able to talk him into returning. By the time they got to the 7th season he was really exhausted so he walked away.

The little dance he does at about 0:49 in that video is one of my favorite parts of the series.
