Re: Premium Ticket Packages

was there ever a verdict on requesting GA pit. From the WH order page you don't get included for Reserved seats.

I just knew when I pushed through the credit card page it would be $500 not $250. They really ought to change that description. Super misleading.

Edit: nevermind. Looks like they just fixed it.

I had the same thing happen. I just hit 'back' and tried again and it worked.

You can only request one section or all of them.

Tickets requested. Decided to put in for the Premium Package ($500!) for Alpine Night 2. Everything else was normal request.

Somebody point out the deal? If you get the reserved seating (do you get to pick if you get preferred reserved seating or standing pit?) that's a $90 ticket, parking is ~20-30, fleece is probably $~50, the poster is $40. That's a total of ~$210. That means the concierge and souvenir pass has a total of $40? sounds like a whole lotta bullshit.

You're also paying for the greater liklihood of securing a ticket, and there's also probably a better chance that your seat (if you get reserved) is better. This is going on the assumption that they process the premium folks before the normal requestors.

So let me get this straight, for the same price VIP used to be (or was it $275?) I don't get all the alcohol I was able to drink before... and now instead get a poster, a fleece jacket (that won't keep me warm) and some other crap.

I'm curious to see how many of these jackets will end up on ebay for the people that do numerous "VIP shows"

And to everyone b*tching about the new "vip system" if they are including a poster w/ your ticket I don't expect them to have many "vip seats" unless they start making the poster runs 2000+ for each show. Unless this is their way of saying you're guaranteed a poster if you pay more for your ticket and eveyone not in "vip" is SOL.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, didn't the Warehouse conduct a survey like a year or 2 ago asking us what are ticketing preferences would be? Like, 'Would you be interested in premium seating, travel packages etc."? I don't know why I'm just remembering this now and I may very well be wrong... but this could be our own doing.

You are assuming that the poster they're talking about is the poster from that individual show. The description only says "tour poster."

I'm not saying that it definitely won't be the poster from that show, but I am saying I woulnd't just assume it is.

Didnt they have a generic Caravan poster in addition to the nightly Caravan posters that were sold this past summer. Could be something like that....

Parking is no charge at Starlake; which only strengthens your point. I don't know about other venues.

I forgot about the VIP section at Starlake. But, honestly, I've never seen a need for it. I've never in all the years going to Starlake spent more than 30 minutes getting out of the lots there.

All depends on strategy. Also, if you park in the front lot by the main road there is hardly any traffic getting out of that lot.

I've gotten out in like 5 with the VIP parking.
Doesn't the front lot make you turn towards WV, though?

Premium tickets = not worth $250.
Premium parking = completely worth the $25 imo.
