Haha....you just keep the convincing tidbits coming my way! I'll have to check out it out this week and see what Dana has to say, but she is always up for a party.

    Hi,

Just a quick question...I'm a new member here...been a Dave fan since the bands inception...just became a member of the warehouse...got on list for tix...how long before they let you know where you are sitting??? And are these usually good seats? Last year we were in sec 303...not bad seats but thought we were a bit far back. My fiance and I are also going to the 10KLF

If you're asking about WH ticketing they let you know if you are confirmed or denied by March 11 or so (a day or two before tickets go onsale). But your seat locations aren't known until a week or two before they get mailed out.

It is pretty tough to get any tickets for the TO show let alone decent ones, so be thankful if you get them through the warehouse

I got decent seats (201, N) through the WH last year. I don't think there are that many WH fans in Toronto, but I do think older members request on behalf of people they know in Toronto. You can always get seats the day they go on sale and sell whatever pair is worse. No need to worry about finding a buyer, people always want Toronto tickets.

I'd just like to see this show without having to bother a friend who sells tix for a living....I'm not going to cry my seats were awesome last year..I just had this dumb notion in my head that signing up for warehouse guaranteed me seats...

If only that were true...haha... i just requested some tickets through there as well! I've been a member since 06 and i was in the mid 200s last year.... the four ticket max this year though could throw everything off.

4 Limit max still counts if you buy through Warehouse too?

That's not been my experience - I usually pull 200's from Ticketmaster the day they go on sale...and instants from the WH barring that are usually 200's also.

This looks like it'll be the 1st Toronto show I don't make it to since my first show at Maple Leaf Gardens 11.17.98.

Can't afford it - maybe might end up taking a lawn ticket, but it's doubtful. I'm going to suffice with MTL, SPAC, SPAC and Syracuse.

I don't think Toronto has gotten a great show since 06.30.04 anyway.

The 08 show had some highlights for sure, but the Darien show the night before left a better taste in my mouth start to finish.

I enjoyed it a lot too and I'm glad I got to see Hey Hey in '08, because none of the other four shows that year did they play it again.

In '06 getting the debut of a brand new song was VERY cool and Dreaming Tree was absolutely awesome. In addition I thought they were on pace for one of the better performances ever of Bartender, but a technical glitch with Dave's guitar during the crescendo fucked it all up!!! haha.

That Bartender in '04 though at Molson Amp is the best performance of Bartender I've ever personally attended - it was magnificent. I cried through pretty much ALL of Butch's bits after the crescendo I was so utterly and emotionally blown away and I can still see and feel it every time I listen to it.

Spoon in '03 was massive. I thought it was better than the 09/14 one that made the CP bonus disc.

I may still try and get on the lawn, it's a game time decision.

Yeah the Hey Hey was definitely solid last year!! I'll also never complain about hearing the Dreaming tree

Agree with the '03 spoon as well, i've heard the recording of that one

After a pretty good opener, with my energy feeling good, I turned to my buddy and said, "Nothing will send this show into the stratosphere like hearing some ODH right now!" And boom! We got it. It was magical... Hey wait a minute.

In all seriousness though, that show was one of the worst flowing shows I've been to. Tempo just going up, down, up, down. SDL->DT was great, Jimi was very good, Nancies was good. Too many repeats from the night before though, weak closer, weak encore.

i saw 8 shows last summer... and sadly, my hometown venue in the T-dot was by far and away the worst setlist of the bunch. In fact, maybe the worst DMB show i've seen so far... fortunately i was lucky enough to see the 04 and 06 shows... here's to hoping 09 at the Amphitheatre is a good one!!!

and here's to hoping us post-'98 WHers dont get screwed by the 4-ticket limit.

Well, seeing as how this is my hometown venue... I figure I'd best be getting some posts in here!
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I'll likely be reserving half the Voodoo Lounge again this year for any and all Ants to come out and play before the show!
We had a great turnout last year... and although the shows setlist wasn't the strongest, I saw 14 shows last year and the Amp was the only time I got to hear Hey Hey My My....

.... To the guy who said it was the worst show of the year.... look at Hershey's setlist! I was there too ... Typical was literally the ONLY highlight of the show! :LOL

While I think Hershey might be the worst place to watch a concert, and that Typical would have been outstanding, I also hear the Two Step was outstanding, one of the best this tour.

:LOL
    Steve!!

How you doing? Looking forward to seeing you at the Amphitheatre this summer - our only summer show this year.

I met someone tonight who claimed that the Montreal show has been relocated to Toronto, making it a two night stand at the Ampitheatre. Anyone else hear anything like this, or was this guy talking out of his ass?
