They are extremely hard to predict tbh, ive seen as early as 1:30 years ago and as late as 4 recently. Usually its around 3 if theres enough people hanging around down the street.

Thanks so much. My ticket says section PIT2 and I just don’t know what that means? LOL. I even called the venue and they weren’t much help. She said “there must be 2 different pits, and you’ll be in PIT2.” That wasn’t particularly helpful. Haha

Theres not 2 pits, its one open area. Thats just how they track the total number of tix.

Some places have the pit split left and right but thats not the case here.

Having never been in the pit for a dave matthews show before, what can I expect at this show? Is it madness, or are people pretty chill? Are they pushy to try to get better positioning, or respectful of the people who have already “staked” their spots? Do people line up at the gate to get in early and get a spot?

We had pit tickets for a Coldplay show here years ago and headed in early to see the opener. Because of that, we had really great spots. But by the end of the show we had basically been pushed to the way back since we aren’t pushy people ourselves. Just curious what to expect 😊

I've had PIT tix for the last 3 Starlake shows and have to say its a really civil group of folks. Never had any issues.

Has anyone seen the VIP parking price on ticketmaster for this show? First onsale was $40 which used to be $30 in previous years. Well, those sold out and I noticed recently that more have been released. Earlier in the week they were priced at $60 and I just looked again this morning and they’re now $75. Damn! That is just ridiculous.

Seems like demand for this show is pretty low this year.... I haven't been able to get rid my extra tickets whereas in past years they've gone within a few days of me posting.

I think we will see some gaps in uppers with the pricing the way it is. I still think the lawn will be fairly packed as usual, maybe a slight tick down in overall attendance.

Yeah my extras are section 5 row O so it's understandable... but I can remember selling extras that were much further to the side and back a few years ago.

yeah those arent bad uppers at all. I think attendance across the board will be down. You should be able to sell them at face if you stick them on stubhub, everything there is still jacked up a bit.

At least we arent like Austin where pits arent even selling $50 under face

Friday night show turns a lot of people off. 2012 being the last 2 night stand, that Friday show was very low attendance, ultimately costing us the second dates.

Yeah, I hate that its a 2 night stand with blossom now. Would be nice to see them flipped at least and Pittsburgh get saturday.

Second tour in a row they played the same night as a major act in town too. 2016 was the same night as T Swift.

I dont mind it, because two nights in a row is always fun, but Im getting a little worn on having to get up and drive the next morning to the show.

Used to be one of the best tailgate atmospheres I had ever been to when they opened the lots early in the day. Now, like most places, the gates don't open until 4 hours before the concert so it cuts down on the fun a bit. Still good tailgate though. And when I say 4 hours before I mean 4 hours exactly before they open the gates and you can't start a line at the gate waiting to get in. We parked along the road last time along with a big line of other cars and cops came by and told us to move. But once you are in you can do whatever. You can grill and put up tents or whatever you want. No weed though. They will bust you. I saw a kid get busted in 2016. He was being pretty obvious about it though.

I’ll be lawning it this year. I don’t care for the lawn but money is short due to having to get a new car. Better then nothing I guess.
