honestly, yeah haha. at first, i felt special because I know I am probably one of the very few who doesn't mind hearing Can't Stop & Cornbread but now, I wonder: do you really think Dave likes playing the same songs EVERY night? thats why he's not like all of the classic rock bands that play the same setlist every night of every tour, EVER. It seems realistic that Dave is giving some people a kick in the ass lol.

Can't stop isn't even new. And the reception hasn't improved. It was horrid in 06 and now it's just a polished turd with a bit more layers of sound

Thread is not really saying the show sucked. Its just a horrible song. I also don't get why it is around. 2 festivals, 2 cant stops, No Stone or Typical. Kind of sucks.

No, of course not. But I'm not going to cry after a show because I got a Can't Stop instead of Typical. I came to the realization a long time ago that the band, for the most part, is going to do what it wants to do. If they want to play shit songs, they're going to play shit songs and I can't do anything about it.

I look at it this way: I'm paying 80 bucks for the experience of being at a show, not necessarily the setlist. Obviously, not everyone can do this though.

the thing is, you have customers out there to also please. you have to somewhat weigh that into the equation.

they must have some idea the song isnt that popular. cornbread isnt on a studio album in the US, but it gets a pop.

cant stop is in the same boat, and literally nobody cares when its played. its quiet, with people on their phones or walking about to grab a beer. i usually stand there with my arms crossed and think of what the next song may be.
