I really don’t have a problem with child tax credits solely due to a major looming demographic crisis.

He's an advocate for the flat tax. He then later said that he wants to give people with children as many tax breaks as possible.

Flat tax support would be inconsistent. I didn’t respond to anything about a flat tax though.

I was responding to the idea that you can’t support having kids when you’re financially ready and also child tax credits. I was responding to Existence’s post, should’ve quoted it.

It's not a tough one, he's been telling people to take Econ 101 for years - that level of schooling should cover this.

I mean I got my girlfriend pregnant out of wedlock, so I’m the last person to be on a high horse about abstinence..fortunately we both make solid middle class income so there shouldn’t be any financial problems..but getting extra money back is a positive.
