Roman v Rey was shockingly brutal for Network TV. It wasn’t Foley vs Taker or anything, but it was very interesting how they did everything. And the finish was awesome.

Lashley/Kofi stuff is pretty solid. Laughed at Kofi reminding MVP he was crying in a bar when Kofi won the world title at Mania.

I went back a couple years ago and watched all the Saturday Nights Main Events in order, and man Orndorff did some spectacular work in the mid 80's. Perfect heel and foil for an emerging Hogan. RIP.

Keith Lee taking the open challenge and getting beat doesnt bug me that much, he can claim ring rust/6 month layoff/etc..., but to do it just to set up Oldie for a title match is terrible. But, the crowd loved Oldie coming out and probably sold a ton of t-shirts so what do I know?

Glad to have Cena back, he was great on the mic and I love the "because Roman Reigns is an asshole" line. Cena/Reigns should be spectacular.

Idk how anyone can look at AEW and not be excited by what they're doing. Establishing their own talent and making them stars, and using these WWE signees to bolster their midcard and continuing to elevate new names.

It's been a rough year for sure with deaths. I personally have lost my father, my father-in-law and an uncle.

Just the past couple of weeks in wrestling we lost Paul Orndorff, manager Bert Prentice, Ted Lewin, FMW star Hideki Hosaka and now Bobby Eaton. Bobby's wife passed recently, too. Rest in peace to all of these folks.

Jim Cornette's podcast on Bobby will be very poignant I think when it finally comes out.

CM Punk returns to wrestling today. 2011 Summer of Punk was the best program I've ever experienced as a wrestling fan and probably the hottest thing WWE did since Austin. Today is a huge day for AEW if that man shows up on their show....like Hogan in WCW huge.

They made reference to other AEW people also. Cena particularly just kinda does that shit. Gets the idiot smarks who think they know shit riled up.

Punk physically looks pretty good. I’m still not interested enough to watch AEW past a couple clips every now and again though. I wish all involved well.
