Here is a difference for me between the left and the right for me at the moment. Some people (including myself) on the left put some faith in some information reported by a couple of Pulitzer Prize reporters (regardless of who they work for)...and when it turns out to be false or unproven or unsubstantiated a lot of people come forward and call out the bullshit and acknowledge the seriousness of such irresponsible reporting. Time will tell what the truth is and I’m okay with Buzzfeed being called out. Egregious and shameful if all this turns out to be false. But I don’t have confidence a lot of trump supporters have as much integrity to call bullshit bullshit.

sorry if this has already been mentioned, but it feels like it's quite worth pointing out, if this particular situation was SO completely not at all true even a little bit (which I can't take for granted yet the way that announcement was worded), why would the WH spokesman very conspicuously fail to categorically deny it in no less than 3 responses? (and on Fox, no less! I was sincerely shocked when I saw they were covering it at all... well, I saw after the fact that F&F barely acknowledged it)

And they're not saying the report is one big lie, they're saying (unspecifically) certain parts are inaccurate. Big difference. BuzzFeed isn't going to publish a story of this magnitude if it was all uncorroborated bullshit that they knew was just going to blow up in their face. Zero chance they'd knowingly take that risk with what the reprocussions would be to their company. It's not like they're some kid blogger typing away in their parents basement.

See I feel like the very fact that Mueller has taken this long (tho *ahem* still shorter than Benghazi, plus how many indictments and pleas have they already gotten out of this thing) only maybe further gives the above possible credence. He wants to be so fucking dead on with this by the time it fully comes out, he's not letting a single air bubble out. Which at least could explain what plenty of people seem to see as very careful wording by design.
I mean, of course Trump and the whole cabal will try to bullshit the way out of things, but I almost look at it now like if Mueller was a filmmaker, he's taking time to get his screenplay w/o an ounce of fat on it, because he won't have one frame to waste when it comes to filming.

Is Muller himself a member of the shameful people as well considering his aide Carr (presumably after clearing it with Muller) stated about the report that it was largely nonsense. This is the statement. "BuzzFeed’s description of specific statements to the special counsel’s office, and characterization of documents and testimony obtained by this office, regarding Michael Cohen’s congressional testimony are not accurate.

Want to know what would pass the Senate? The bill that all 100 senators passed that would reopen the government and tackle immigration and the border separately.
