Good Hotel Deals for DMB Caravan

I just booked a room for 85$/night at the Palmer House Hilton on priceline.com. It's a four-star hotel right next to the red line, which you can take to the show for the most part. It's right by Millennium Park, so it's a little bit north, but it's close enough...I just thought I'd let you fellow ants know about it in case someone hasnt booked their room yet...

I think I posted this in thethe right forum/thread...I was gonna do ticket exchange, but I figured more people would see this in the Tour Discussion...if I'm wrong, I'm sorry...

Yes please do! We are taking the bus from Rock Bottom and are having a hell of a time finding a decently price hotel nearby. It seems like all the hotels listed on the caravan site are sold out of the blocks they have. That's not cool they still have it on the site then, I called one hotel and they said they only had 20 rooms at the DMB rate.

We booked two rooms near O'hare for about $70 total a night. They have a shuttle to the blue line that connects to the red line and both go all night. Realize we have more travel time but if people are strapped for cash this isnt a bad way to go.

We are taking the shuttle from Rock Bottom that someone on the boards set up, so its not a matter of being strapped for cash. We just want to be close to Rock Bottom so we don't have to drive at all, and spending $300 a night just to sleep somewhere isn't a option.

Well you are smarter than me. I put in $100 this weekend on the priceline.com name your own price and got the Palmer House Hilton as well. I could have saved $15/night!

that's still a good deal!...this girl I know is going to a wedding there that same weekend and she's paying 139$/night...
