    Loki
    Hawkeye
    Wanda
Moon Knight (didn’t care much for the story but the acting/action was top notch)

    She-Hulk
    Falcon

Probably won’t ever see the other 2.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe Fandom (MCUc)

Jeff Loveness went from Rick & Morty to Ant-Man 3. I’m guessing they love what he did on that movie because he’s getting Avengers 5.

‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’: Jeff Loveness Tapped To Write Next Installment In Marvel Series
    Quote:
EXCLUSIVE: After announcing the Avengers: The Kang Dynasty at this year’s Comic Con, Marvel Studios looks to have found the writer who will now pen the highly-anticipated film. Sources tell Deadline, Jeff Loveness, who recently wrote Ant-Man and Wasp: Quantumania, will pen Avengers: the Kang Dynasty for Marvel. Loveness will join Destin Daniel Cretton, who was recently set as director on the project with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige producing.

    Marvel had no comment.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe Fandom (MCUc)

Sort of shocked that they’re going with a director and writer combo that isn’t very proven.

‘Fantastic Four’: Jeff Kaplan & Ian Springer To Write New Film For Marvel Studios
    Quote:
EXCLUSIVE: With Matt Shakman boarding as director, Marvel Studios has now found its writers to deliver the new Fantastic Four pic. Sources tell Deadline that Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer are on board to write the script for the film.

Insiders add that the writing duo actually has been involved with Fantastic Four for some time, even before Shakman was tapped as director, and have been outlining where this next series of films will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige. Kaplan, Springer and Shakman now will come together to align their visions for this project before writer dive into the script. Feige is producing the pic.

At Disney’s D23 event this month, Feige confirmed Shakman as director of the film but said that was all he had for the audience at the time, with no cast on board. Feige and Shakman now will focus on finding actors while the script is being written.

As for Kaplan and Springer, while new to the scene, the writing duo is one of the hotter screenwriter teams in town, having sold a number of specs in the past year. One of those high-profile projects is the Warner Bros. comedy Disaster Wedding, which recently landed Palm Springs helmer Max Barbakow to direct.

Adil El Arbi and Fallah Bilall posted this on Instagram with the caption “Just reminiscing on our time spent in the MCU, who’s ready for season 2?!”

    https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cix5k...d=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

I’m fine with a season 2 if they’re doing the entire season. I enjoyed their episodes (premiere and finale) but everything in between was poorly directed.

Not exactly. There are positives in there, too. But there really wasn’t a single take in the video that I disagreed with. It’s just not the same anymore. They’ve saturated the market with largely subpar material for the last few years, and for the most part it’s directionless.

I made a similar complaint earlier in the year. Note, I have not watched this video, but I'm sure I'll agree with it.

And no, I'm not forced to watch anything. That doesn't mean my take, or feelings, are invalid.

You also didn’t make an entire YouTube video about it

I think the MCU is just in a spot where they can afford to experiment and try different directions of things especially when the Disney + shows.

An outlet they didn’t have in other phases

Yes and no. I mean, they wanted the Netflix shows and Agents of SHIELD to be MCU canon, but that kinda fell through due to bad initial planning.

I still think D+ is oversaturating the market with shows, but I also don't think the shows are bad, so I don't mind.

I have no idea what you’re referring to with dragons, but cool story? You shouldn’t take this so personally. It’s great if you’ve enjoyed phase 4, people are allowed to have different opinions.

I’m not trolling this thread though? I’ve been to opening night of at least half the MCU films, I’ve been on this ride from the beginning. I’m not a fan of where they’ve taken the cinematic universe. It’s a legit concern shared by many. If you don’t share those concerns, more power to you. But I’m going to post about it in the MCU thread.

I’m concerned about over saturation but I haven’t really disliked anything from Phase 4 except Eternals and Morbius if that counts

    Black Widow
    Shang-Chi
    Spider man
    Dr Strange

    Wandavision
    Loki
    Hawkeye
    Moon knight
    She hulk

    All are good/great

And we still have Wakanda Forever, werewolf by night,

Falcon, ms Marvel, what if? Thor were mid/average

I tried to watch this, but he keeps making the same complaint over and over. Though the people who dislike She-Hulk and only focus on her comments about being a woman are ridiculous. If you don’t like the show? No issue. But making a super cut of one comment from one episode is just dumb.

Overall I just don’t get his main point. Marvel heard these complaints and literally said “Here’s the road map. This is where it’s all going.” if you watched Phase 1 you wouldn’t know how it all leads to Infinity War based on some of the movies. They teased a multiversal war right at the start of Phase 4 and we know it ends in Secret Wars. We’re on the same three phase plan as before. Not liking it? Fair. But complaints about lack of direction don’t make sense.

Morbius does not count. It’s not made by Marvel Studios. Eventually down the line the Marvel Studios and Sony Marvel world may connect more, but Spider-Man is the only character that will actually impact the MCU in any meaningful way.

    Black Widow
    Shang-Chi
    Spider man
    Dr Strange

    Wandavision
    Loki
    Hawkeye
    Moon knight
    She hulk

    All are good/great

And we still have Wakanda Forever, werewolf by night,

Falcon, ms Marvel, what if? Thor were mid/average
Shang-Chi pulled me back in. I got salty around Civil War, but I’ve been enjoying almost everything post-Shang-Chi. I did not like Falcon and WS, couldn’t get into Hawkeye or Moon Knight, but outside of that I’ve been enjoying Marvel again…and I don’t know why I like She-Hulk, but I do.

Not sure what to make of Werewolf By Night but reactions have hit social media: https://collider.com/werewolf-by-nig...ws-is-it-good/

Robert Cargill who wrote Sinister, Black Phone, and Doctor Strange had this to say: https://twitter.com/massawyrm/status...KrAvos58kSPiug
