I have only enjoyed two episodes so far, lake house and doug judy. Glad to hear there might be a few more later in the season that stay true to the sillyness of the show.
Wasn’t the best episode ever, but I thought it was well done. The worst part was the Santiago/Captain stuff at first. The diatribe from the female captain hit, Charles being Charles, Jake being optimistic because he’s good - all of that was true to the show. For a show that scrapped a season and rewrote it to be more socially aware, thought it was very good.

Guess we will just have to agree to disagree. Thought episode 1 was TERRIBLE and unlike any episode they have previously had, even the other serious ones.

I think GSUdawg sees where I'm coming from even if he might agree with the overall message more than I do - but glad to hear he thinks its worth it to finish.

It started off really underwhelming, but the back half of the season has been really strong.

yeah this. I couldn’t for the life of me understand what people liked about it, but the last 3 eps are a totally different show in the best way possible.

Plus I kinda got the feeling that this was going to be told from the women's perspective..we've always seen this through the eyes of the Clintons...so far it really hasn't

    Monica- young, airy, in love
    Paula- dumb white trash
    Linda- vindictive, resentful c word

    None of this is "new"

I am hoping the first 2 eps are more about setting up the relationship and the rest is about political fallout.

I don't think it's meant to be "new." It's not a documentary. It's dramatized version of what happened.

    American Horror Story S10E5

wow the last 10 min might be the most visually powerful scene this series has ever done. what on earth. one episode left, still time to mess it up.

and yes there are plot holes that i’m willing to overlook bc this season has been so solid otherwise. by far the best since season 1 and 2 if not better

    Ted Lasso S2E9

weird and disorienting. i get why they did it but i didn’t like it tbh

I thought I saw they filmed 10 but Apple wanted 12 so they gave us the Christmas and Coach Beard episodes, they don’t advance the plot but work within the story

yes I very well understand that. But its kind of been advertised as the women's POV...and while it kinda is, it really seems like a man's version of what the POV sounds like, with each woman filling an archetype.

The OJ series wasn't new info, but it provided a different perspective, with the main focus being on what the the people involved we dealing with outside of OJ, maybe thats how this is setting up.

I don't know. I didn't see anything "new" offered in the OJ series. To me, this is this the same exact format. And I am enjoying it just as much.

My wife and I watched this together. When you think about it. Its staggering how much (and little) money some of these woman made. Like that #3 person. At it's peak, she likely had, at minimum, tens of thousands of people in her downline. That's millions of dollars.

Been watching Into the Night on Netflix.

It's not great, but it's super fast paced with a lot of turns. It kinda reminds me of Prison Break, in a good way.

Finally got around to watching Mare of Easttown. It was good, took some unexpected turns. The 90s vibe was interesting, basically set in 2019 but everyone dressed like it was 1997.

Anybody stick with Nine Perfect Strangers? It started off intriguing but really floundered as it went along before going out with a whimper in today's finale. Michael Shannon and Bobby Cannavale were definitely the standouts, but that shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

    Re: Official Television Thread v2.0

American Horror Story S10E6 (part 1 finale)

episodes 1-5: A by AHS standards (B by normal show standards)

    episode 6: F+

would have easily been the best season of this series if it had stuck the landing but nope. absolutely terrible (as are most finales of his). downgrades the whole season to a C....Murder House still reigns supreme

truly loved this season til today

    part 2 looks sick though
