Definitely agree - thanks again to Neum for all the legwork.

I just wish Rog could have seen the Cameos, but I’m glad his family was able to view them. Still can’t really believe he’s gone. Fuck cancer x10000000000000000

wow, very sad to see this. a bit surreal to hear about an online-only acquaintance and still feel impacted. then to see all of the people having stories about meeting up with roger in person - seems to have been an all-around good person to have known

adam, thankful you were able to put these together and share with his brother. sorry I wasn't around to contribute, but will send some to the charities you posted

City on the hill season 2 started on Sunday

Rog recommend that show to me since I live in Massachusetts.

I totally forgot until I saw it pop up on the dvr

I still can't believe the creep-o was reaching out years later.

I think a great song title would be "Pretty Boy Blue State."

    Still thinking of you, Roger.

    Rest in Peace.

He had been fighting cancer over the last year and he unfortunately did not win the fight. For those who knew him on here, he was always a fighter.

For those of you who didn't know, a bunch of us in the Prompter put together a bunch of cash to purchase from Cameos for him. These Cameos were made the week before he passed away so he unfortunately never got to see these. However, as a community, I believe that we should see and enjoy them:

    RIP Roger

    WHAT?!

This is incredibly sad to hear. I'm honestly in shock and at a loss for words right now. He was very quiet about this.

One of my favorite memories with Roger was meeting him for the first time in Columbus, Ohio. I met him down on High Street and we went back to my apartment to drink, talk DMB, and party. It was the Penn State game, I can remember the weather.

This sucks, but thank you for sharing.

Somebody mentioned Cameo at work today and I thought of us coming together to get these videos for Roger, but it was too sad and complicated to communicate to my co-workers, so I just kinda stood there quietly

    Anyway, RIP Rahj

i never got to know Roger at all on here (at least while sober), but i'm really missing my friend that passed away from leukemia almost 2 years ago these days (concert season), and i just wanted to say that life is beautiful and don't forget to enjoy every day while you're on this weird rock called Earth. Reading these posts it seems like Roger meant a lot to you guys. love to everyone hurting.

bro. We all go through this stuff. That's what makes the Ants community so unique. We may fight about dumb shit in some threads, but we are all bonded in a weird way.

Hey man that's so inherently true about this community. Your stories matter to me. I like you guys as people, genuinely, despite whatever we're arguing about in the more...divisive threads.

I hope you had a good day today, and if you didn't that you at least found peace. shoutout to our fallen loved ones that we wish we could have good and bad days with again, because its all meaningful.

I've always considered myself extremely lucky in that I can go to just about any show from my favorite band and find some people I know and am actually friends with. The friendships I've made through here have extended into real life with you all. Ants is a great community, even through the rough patches.

    Re: Remembering Roger - rconverse

We’d been traveling since before the 4th and I took time off from work as we traveled, and I found myself forgetting what day of the week it was as we arrived to my in laws last Wednesday evening (I thought it was a Friday since I had finished work for the week). Reminded me of a time in the prompter when Rog was saying some Rog-ish things (probably anti tax or whatever) and I said “Friday Rog is the best Rog” or something to that effect. It was a Tuesday he gave me a fair amount of shit for that. It was another win for Milos.

He and I chatted it up later outside the thread about holiday plans and all that. Just a good dude and easy to chat with.

I didn’t know him as well as some others - but that same feeling of not knowing what day of the week it was made me think of that interaction for some reason and bummed me out thinking that he’s gone. RIP to Milos, the Professor & the Excel King.
