I am a lot more forgiving to a kicker missing a 30+ yard kick than a bonehead penalty when you are down by one. The kicker can take a little blame, but without the penalty they go to overtime.

    Well, I used a FT as an example because it's the normal shot after a score + foul, which is about as close to a comparison in another sport than football to a PAT after a TD.

    It's not so much that the kick was unmakeable, just completely unnecessary to have to kick from that far away.

    The very reason the NFL moved back the PAT is because the PAT conversion was like over 99% before the move. Once they moved it back, there were more misses in one season than several seasons past. Wonder why that is?

    Well today is the day, GO BLUE!!

    Realistically hoping for a good game, I do think they can beat them but it will take a very clean game by Michigan and some key mistakes from Ohio St. For some reason if Michigan wins today I believe they would be playing as good as anyone in the country and just as deserving for a playoff spot but early losses obviously cost them. I would consider it a great season if we win regardless.

    Auburn should probably win today, but there aren't many programs in the nation that could play a top 15 team without their starting QB, both starting MLBers, starting TE, starting kicker, and possible the starting DT, and still have a chance to win. Just hope it's a good game.

    This is actually a lot more competitive than I thought it would be, as a neutral fan it would be nice if Michigan was on the same planet as Ohio State and the rivalry was a rivalry but I didn't see Michigan scoring 30ish
