All good. I just bought a regular Switch because it's easier for me to play that with my daughter rather than using the Lite. She is ready to play some Tsum Tsum Festival.

So it’s been confirmed, Super Mario 3D World is coming to the switch in February and Super Mario 3D All Stars with 64, sunshine, and Galaxy is coming in 2 weeks.

preordered 3d allstars, will hold off on 3d world until the time gets closer. love 64, never played sunshine despite having a gamecube when it came out, and even though i played galaxy i hated the wiimote with it. hopefully the remaster smooths out those controls.

So I caught a good price drop on Super Mario Maker 2 last week and have been absolutely loving this game. Playing mostly the story mode still, but any suggestions on good levels from the online stuff?

Still haven't gotten around to grabbing 3D all stars. Heard that 64 isn't remastered and the textures look a bit odd. Between that and that Sunshine isn't really well regarded (from what I've read, I've never played it); I'm wondering if I'm better off just sticking to my N64 for M64 and Wii for Galaxy 1.

Hey all, need some help as apparently I’ve aged so much with being a dad I now have no idea how the switch works.

Family member has a switch game on their Christmas list. Do I:

A) buy “physical” from target, etc.? Prices around $60.

B) Buy a digital code from online? Prices around 25-35.

Why are the prices so different? I’m talking the same standard version of any game. Does the switch even take physical media or is it all online? I thought it was all online so why would I purchase it from target?

The Switch takes physical media, basically sd memory cards. No idea why there is such a price difference, go with the redeemable code.

There's advantages to physical like reselling and sharing. But digital is nice because all the games are in one place.

The only issue w/getting a digital copy for someone else is knowing if they will have enough space or not. The switch comes with 32gb which can hold a handful of games so unless they have a SD card w/more space they may be limited.

So on big games like Mario, Zelda Animal Crossing..will take up a huge chunk. I can keep I think 4, 5 mainstream titles

Picked this up when I got my Switch and haven't had to worry about the physical/digital issue - just buy whatever is cheaper at this point. The $30 invested into the expanded storage was a quick payoff.
