Help finding a specific The Stone

There was an old concert I used to listen to a long time ago that had a great Stone that had the alternative lyrics “…turn the world upside down and do it all over again”

I can’t remember the year but I’m thinking it was early 2000s because I think it had a 3 verse Grey Street in the set. Anyone know what I’m talking about? I can’t find it anywhere. Am I losing my mind? Is this real, or am I dreaming?

If that's the case, you've narrowed it down to 2000 or 2001.

If you don't have any luck on here, you should give dmbalmanac a try. They have "alternative lyrics" listed for live songs. It might take some searching, but you might just find what you're looking for.

Fair enough. I thought Conan happened before the tour began.

I went through a lot of official releases from 200-2002 last night and couldn’t find it.

Was it a tape records for? That opens it up a bit.

Does anyone know what the date was of the The Stone where Carter doesn't end it on the right time and basically does a little mini solo to cover it? I want to say it went into Grace, so circa 2000.

Almanac has 10 alternate lyrics versions listed for The Stone. None of them match that line. Only one was played on the same night as a full Grey Street; 5/21/2002, but again, the alternate lyrics don't match what you remember.

There are about 40 shows from 2000-2002 that have both The Stone and a full Grey Street. Do you remember any other songs from the set? Opener/closer?

Re: Help finding a specific The Stone

I’m racking my brain trying to remember what else was in the set.
5 21 02 is a badass Stone, love that one. Been listening to a boat load of 2002 ones trying to find it. That is some PRIME dmb. Listening to 5 19 2002, I thought it was going to be the one but it didn’t have that line. If feels like it had that same vibe of the 02 I was really digging Heartbeat intro back then too but that would’ve most likely been a 2000 show so I don’t know. I’m going to keep searching. If you have a couple of hours to kill, go jam this 5/19/2002 from Shoreline. Incredible show. https://youtu.be/nm8T3IJmQnQ

Almanac doesn't have alternate lyrics for that 5/15/02 show, and I don't hear the lyrics in this video.
