Hell yeah!!! So pumped they ditched Lakehood!!! I like it being later in the tour and after the big 2 nighters. More chances at rare tunes!

Yup!!! I heard a few things about it being at Verizon but didn't pay them any mind. Only thing that could of made it better would of been another 2 night run like 09

2 nights would have been awesome, but I'll take Alpharetta over Atlanta any day!

Probably just one night due to the amount of southeast shows. Alpharetta is a much better venue, adios Lakewood.

I do find it funny that the band didn’t even recognize the venue just changed names when announcing the dates on warehouse. This one falls on my anniversary. Going to have to do some negotiating with the wife who is not a huge dmb fan

Alpharetta worked out well for D&T in 2017. The bolded is a huge deal - so tired of ATL getting warm-up shows during the spring run, only to have venues during the summer run get much better sets.

I’m really sad that this isn’t going to be Memorial Day Wekend. It’s a tradition for my friends group. I may have to miss ATL this year. Verizon is so much better... but midweek dates suck

I know people hate on Lakewood, but it's nostalgia for me. I've seen so many shows there since the mid to late 90's.

Dang. This not being Memorial Day weekend and being on a weeknight kinda sucks. I would've liked to check out Alpharetta since everyone else seems to think Lakewood blows!

I was at D&T for 2017 show at Verizon, it's absolutely the right move! Lakewood is great for nostalgia purposes, Verizon should be the venue of the future for DMB! Can't wait for July 23rd.

Wonder if they will yank out the 100 level seats for big pit. Hopefully it will not be cluster that Lakewood pit is

Well I don't really disagree. While Atlanta 2018 was a total blast and got a great setlist, I had more fun at the Charlotte show. Come On Come On -> Pig -> Watchtower straight up melted it.

The true travesty last year was Orange Beach getting postponed and it took it from the guarantee of at least a solid setlist to a mailed in garbage one since it was tacked on after WPB.

It'd be nice, yeah, if the lowers were out and they made it a big pit but Lakewood didn't even do that for DMB so I doubt they'd do that for Alpharetta as the seating chart now shows. They aren't even doing full floor in the arenas anymore, ha.

Thanks. This seems like a pretty large pit. It still ahd coming soon when I checked right after dates were released. Going to be hard to get section 1-3 seats I bet especially non-premium.

Meh. I'm torn as I like a later in the season show as set lists tend to be better. It's also a nicer venue than Lakewood, but it's quite a trek up there and back for us from East Atlanta. Especially on a weeknight and having to be able to leave work early to miss rush hour.

Well, it's quite the trek from Knoxville, but I'll be going since it's not at lakehood. Great move DMB.

I am for sure in the minority when I say - give me Lakewood over Alpha-fucking-retta

Nicer venue? Sure.

Better lawn? Not a chance. Lakewood is much more open and comfortable where as Alpharetta is steep and tight.

Hoping I can take the entire day off from work to make the trek up there from the city!

Went ahead and requested to two tickets. Went with the $115 level, probably will end up in the $85 seats is my guess. Opted out of lawn. Hate trekking OTP, but will do it for DMB even after swearing off that venue after going to some cheap shows over the summer on weeknights last year that sucked fighting traffic to after work and getting home late (8 miles to Lakewood vs. 36 to Verizon or whatever it's called now). Hopefully it's a day my wife and I can both get out early and get up there before traffic.

I hear you brother. I'm in the same boat. My wife likes DMB and we went to the Dave and Tim show together a couple years ago at Alpharetta, but the anniversary will be a tough sell. Maybe she'll surprise me with tickets (a guy can hope, right?).

I wish they'd play somewhere different like Sun Trust Park. Although that's probably just me being selfish since I live 3 miles from the stadium and could Uber there.

Just noticed that a Citi presale is not mentioned on TM for Alpharetta. Anyone know what the deal is? Nashville has the Citi presale noted for 2/19, three days prior to the general onsale.

Happens every year for various shows; the CITI presale doesn't need to be up yet, nothing you can do with it now, just needs to be up by 2/19
