In 2006 i stayed at the North Econo Lodge (not the one right across the street) and in 2010 i stayed at the Holiday Inn - University Area

They are both about a 15 minute walk from the Arena....easily accessible to the bus system during the day and easy to walk to after the show to avoid the chaos

Fuck yes. Chicago it is for me.

I wish there were some later dates after I get out for winter break, I would consider a road trip. But Chicago is enough.

Cool. I've just literally never seen the band other than summer shows so I had no idea how indoor venues worked.

Back in the day it was reserved all over...they put chairs on the floor (and on the field to for stadium shows)

i benefitted from this in Detroit on 12.3.05 10th row, center section, on the aisle

possibly the best seats ive had for any concert ever (including front row center for deer creek)

i like GA floor too....i like to go to the back and have plenty of room to move around, dance, stumble around, and not have idiots bumping it to me all night (or, not be the idiot bumping into people all night, depending on my pre show activities)

Just saw someone say that Jimmy Cliff is opening the first half of the tour. Not nearly as good as the Lumineers but hey not bad.

I am driving up from U of I and back after the show. Gonna be a long night I cant wait. Only 64 days 1hour 23 minutes and 5 seconds left

Nope, not at all. Ive done it a couple times for Blackhawks games. You can usually find some hotel deals on hotwire. Ive stayed at the Marriot a few times.

Depends on where you want to be...if you are looking to get railed, it will be chaos....if you are looking to hang in the back, you will have as much space as you need.....and everything in between,
