Depending on how inspired the band felt and how well BWGK is received, I can see them cranking out another album in 2 years. Who knows, they may be on the verge of a major career-renaissance of sorts.

You people are expecting miracles from this album...I am honestly expecting SU vol. 2. There is no reason to think otherwise at this point. DMB is not the band they were over ten years ago, and its nuts to think that they will become that band. I will wait to hear a demo or some kind of official recording to believe otherwise.

My thoughts exactly. That studio video clip that was 'leaked' sounded like Old Dirt Hill.. I know I'm part of the minority that likes that song (live) but I think you have a good point that this will be a continuation of the 05 works.. especially since some of these songs are coming from past sessions w/ Roi

My thought: at least one more album from the band.. anything beyond that is probably up in the air

I get what you're saying and agree that there isn't any reason to expect this album to be a classic, but I do not expect SU vol. 2 by any means. Between having Tim, a better producer, and hopefully motivation to make Roi's last album great, I think there is potential for this album to be a nice surprise. Obiously it could be bad as well, but I'm not expecting to get something terrible. To me SU is god awful, I truthfully can't see this album being worse or on par with that one. If it is though, I'll likely sell my summer tour tickets.

Id really like a studio dmb IOY instead of solo dave... Id rather not have any studio eh hee though .. that song should stay a live only imo

Dave recorded it solo. You can buy it from iTunes. It's really good. I like it, a lot. Here is the video he did for it.
