I have the Pro for the 11, and it has none of those issues you talk about. Pro may be the way to go, especially with the camera if you're into taking a lot of photos.

All of my pics are of my children so it's not necessary but I'm convinced everything has an orange tint on my display. I have true tone off and night mode or any of that isn't enabled. It's really noticeable next to my XR.

absolutely loving the 12 Pro, wow. coming from the X, it feels like going to a truly high-end phone.

the stainless steel on the back is absolutely gorgeous - I went with Silver and it's less silvery than the X, really makes it look & feel timeless.

My phone has become a clunky slow freezing god damned mess. I never update my current phone to the new iOS, as I want the next phone to feel even more new with the new iOS. It's never been an issue before, but I think I may have to update this one and hope it fixes the problem.

My roommate got his 12 Pro (Verizon) two days ago and has had a truly awful experience transferring from his X over to his 12 Pro. Not sure if it's a fluke or what, but I'm a little concerned for when I order the Pro Max. To start, he couldn't make a phone call on his new device and calling Verizon led to a deadend automated message hangup. So he was chatting with someone in Bangladesh for 3 hours who told him the following day his phone would be activated. The following day it was activated but the call quality was echoing and choppy through today

damn that sucks. my transfer from my X to the 12 Pro was flawless, took about 30 minutes total.

The App Library is useless, completely gets in the way and you can’t disable it. Boo.

I had a similar experience going from our 7/7Pluses to our 11s and it all had to do with the SIMS. The cards in the new phones wouldn’t activate with the old phones still on. So I originally put the SIMS from the old phones into the new phones, but said fuck that because there’s probably some difference that makes the SIMS in the new phones better (IDK that was just my impetus for reaching out to Verizon). So that night (the night I got the new phones) I had the same experience getting ahold of Verizon but the chat person was great and able to get the new SIMS activated just fine over chat.

Man, Google Maps is pissing me off. Now, in the mode where your direction is up, you can’t scroll around the map without it switching to this weird diagonal view. Really annoying.

I haven't had an iPhone on many years. I like the idea of the 12 mini. Would yall recommend the switch? How easy is it to put music on the iPhone that isn't from the the native app? Like DMB tapes and stuff like that.

That’s cool you like it.

My complaint was more around you can’t get rid of it for those that are happy with how it is today.

For me it’s a screen to scroll to by mistake and have to reverse

I have three pages of apps on my home screen. Now if I flip all the way to the right, instead of getting my last page I will get this.

I enjoy the App Library simply as a place to throw my least used apps and clear out my screen. I like my Home Screen as minimal as possible.

Just a habit I’ve developed like all things. Which is why I noticed it.

I won’t die because of this. But it’s odd they made the decision you can’t remove it was my real point. I develop stuff like this and they had to discuss letting the user remove it and opted for no for some reason.

You get used to it. You can switch between apps just by swiping at the bottom of the screen, which speeds things up a bit.

Lol I’m sure, as with all Apple products, I’ll get used to it. My 6s still runs pretty damn good too; I was running iOS 10 on it up until a few months ago lol... but it’s handled iOS 13 surprisingly well.

I also have a 2012 MacBook Pro and a 2007 iPod Classic that both still work great too don’t use the iPod much anymore but I use the MBP daily and edit videos on it and it still works good as new.

My iPod classic is hooked up to my radio in the car and just stays on shuffle. It’s my own personal radio station without commercials.

was wearing my AirPods Pro yesterday and the left one was drained down to 16% while the right was at, like, 60% or something. Definitely going to keep an eye on that, very strange.
