Official Innings Fest 2020

Don't think I've seen a thread started for this yet...so thought I'd get it started!

Actually attended the inaugural Innings Fest a couple years ago and had an absolute blast. Was in town for Spring Training and when I saw that Head and the Heart, Decemberists, and Avett Brothers were performing it was a no brainer. If you're a baseball fan and happen to like the acts, it's really a total dream.

Tempe Beach Park is a great venue, just two stages to float between. The merch tent was great, some really nice "Innings Fest," gear. I bought the VIP ticket which included beer and wine and also some snacks in the VIP area. Can't imagine I'll ever find another festival with unlimited local beef jerky, it was a definite nod to all the baseball fans. VIP also gave you access to a raised platform near the main stage and a seperate section in front of the left side of the stage.

Acts last year didn't appeal to me quite as much. Will definitely be heading back this year. Just night 1. Look forward to seeing Portugal the Man and DMB! One thing to note, it is during Spring Training and hotels/airbnbs will fill up quickly so definitely worth planning ahead if planning to attend.

So excited for this one! Jason Isbell and DMB are two of my top 3 favorites...would be awesome to see JI guest with DMB. Not holding my breath, but if ever there was an opportunity, this seems logical.

We're in for N1 only of the Fest, but will be in the area Fri-Mon for ST games. Got the hotel booked on points already. Rental car reserved through Costco. Flights booked on SWA points. This will also be our kids (14, 11, 8) first DMB show. Can't wait, super excited.

Just found out my company is taking me and my wife to N1 VIP! Beyond excited, this will be show 21, and I never saw it coming! Any tips from any previous fest goers?

Given that you have VIP definitely get there when the gates open to secure some seats on the risers in the VIP area. Some people will camp in the seats all day so definitely worth getting their early for that. The festival does have lockers in the VIP area as well. If it's anything like it was a couple years ago get your merch early because it will sell out. The poster from year 1 was awesome, I bought it on the evening of the first day and think they only had 200 left. If you're driving to the venue there are a couple garages in the area. Think I paid $15 and had less than a 5 minute walk. Uber is the way to go though if you're at a nearby hotel.

Love the venue! Excited to go back this year!

Making a trip from Colorado for this. Innings Fest on Saturday and Sunday, Rockies game on Monday. Back to the classroom on Tuesday. Spring Break a little early for me this year.

Just moved down here six months ago. I missed the show here in September (oldest had a baseball game that night); I tried last minute to go. Will go to this (either with or without fam). If the boys go (11 & 9 on show date); it will be their first shows. I like the line-up allot. Hopefully meet some Ants there!

I've wanted to attend Rangers spring training since i was a kid. I've wanted to go to InningsFest since it started for that reasons.

DMB tips the scale and got me to finally commit.

Whiskey Myers is BADASS too. Lineup is great!

I have to be in Vegas that week for work, so seemed like a no brainer... but now the Vegas show was announced.

So it will depend if we can get tickets to the Vegas shows I guess.

Innings schedule is out and the band is set to play 8:30-11:00 on the main stage on Saturday night. Glad it will be a full set! Jason Isbell right before.

I was happy to see the full set and not a 90 minute block. Hopefully Isbell finds his way on stage during the DMB set. Saw him collaborate with Crosby at Red Rocks last year and it was incredible.

JI is great live! Glad he got the spot leading up to DMB. The way the poster reads, I thought they were going to put Portugal the Man. in that slot. Would love to see JI guest on Cortez or something like that.

I am within walking distance of the venue. I am going to arrange a meetup at a bar on Mill Ave. I will be calling around trying to get something in place similar to the one I put together in 2016 in Columbus.

Two of my favorite bands playing (dmb & DCFC), venue is 15 min from
our house and we’re not going. Have zero interest in baseball or spring training and not paying hundreds of dollars to stand in a crappy park with dead grass. The park it’s at is ok for the taco festival but not for a show.
