They most likely won't be available. Billboard only posts the top 50 each week. So that means that there are even some DMB shows with well over 10,000 people that aren't getting reported because the show didn't make $1 million or whatever. It's stupid, they used to post hundreds each week. Everything from The Rolling Stones grossing $12 million from one show to small club shows with 50 people that grossed $500.

Try not to look at it as only 12 people, Boyd... think of it as 24 dirty socks!

Got a couple more for ya.

    Denver- 34,019
    $2,284,845

    Lake Tahoe- 8,682
    $998,430

    San Francisco- 9,870
    $1,061,397

Denver and Tahoe were sold out. San Francisco was not. John Mayer player to 13,000 people there on the same list. And Metallica just did 2 shows there where they played to the entire arena, so their attendance was probably closer to 20,000 each night. Why does California not really get into DMB?

Anyway, that’s it. I think they’d be crazy to not make Denver a yearly stop at Fiddlers Green.

People can speculate all they want about the reasons they don't play Red Rocks, but it's this. They'd have to play four nights at Red Rocks to match that number.

Crazy to see Denver outdrawing both Camden and WPB and being right up there with SPAC and Alpine. If Fiddlers held closer to 20K it might've been the highest attended 2 night run of the summer since both shows sold out well in advance. I'd be surprised if they don't make it a yearly stop, which is nice since they've done the every other year thing in CO for some time.

Imo part of the reason is because Denver has less options compared to Camden/spac at least.
The majority of the fans going to Camden and spac can go to a lot more shows easily if they want vs Denver

Not trying to defend DMB tooth and nail but Mayer sold San Fran out because of his recent Dead Head fandom. San Francisco as many know is The Dead's hometown, couple that with the fact he has tour "solo" in a few years, it was't a far stretch to think he could sell that place out.

glad to see people are finally starting to realize SPAC is overrated.

why would you need to defend DMB? who cares what JM did?

he's definitely more popular right now, for a wide variety of reasons. Factor in tour scarcity and boom.

Anyone see the pictures on Jeff's Instagram from last night's show in Mexico? It looks like they didn't even fill up half of the theater last night. Very very small crowd

I believe the rumored date was June 18th, which ended up being D&T at CMAC instead. Maybe they’ll switch out Bethel for Syracuse next year?

That venue holds 8712, per Wikipedia. So they had maybe half that? I’d say that part of Mexico has seen its first, and last, DMB show.

It's interesting to me how Hartford has gone from 3 shows in 2000 to only filling 1 show 2/3 of the way. Meanwhile places like Deer Creek, SPAC, Alpine etc seem to hold pretty steady. And even lesser stops like Riverbend or Charlotte have hung in there. Seems like Hartford in particular is just not a "DAVE-TOWN" anymore.

I am 29 and am born and raised in central CT. Hartford's concert numbers is dependent on whats popping with high school/college kids. From the late 90s to the mid 2000's DMB was the act that people would have to tailgate. From the mid 2000's to 2016ish country became the new dmb and had crowds like dmb. Nowadays half the country acts are falling off while pop country and rap are the popular shows for the kids.

Hartford selling well is dependent on how many people you can convince to sit in the 22K lawn. The 6,700-7000 pavillion seats/pit usually fill up for dmb. But the lawn is dependent upon fair weather people looking to party and that crowd has vanished year by year in Hartford.

Agreed, but playing Red Rocks is more of an event than anything else. Not saying they should do it regularly, but how cool would it be if they did, say, a 4-night CO run: Th-Fr at Dick's and then Sa-Su and Red Rocks? (maybe even play RRX mid-week because the place would sell out, regardless)

I know it's not really "worth it" to them at this point, but it definitely would be awesome for the people that could score tickets.

That kinda shocked me, too... But I would love for DMB to come play Des Moines more frequently. As it stands, they come through here about once every 5 years, and that just ain't enough...Wells Fargo Arena is okay, but their 2009 show at Principal Park (minor league ballpark for Iowa Cubs) phenomenal. I'd probably poop myself if I found out they'd be returning to that venue. A happy poop, though.

    This is very true.

It would be a sad day if DMB ever decided to scrap the Hartford stop.

Red Rocks works for a band so they can say they "did Red Rocks" and its a great experience for the fans. Everything else about Red Rocks is awful for the band and crew. Unless a band has a special attachment to it there is zero incentive to play there, logistically or financially.

MSG, same thing. They had more than double the shows of many venues on the list. If those venues matched MSG the numbers Would be totally different

So when I look at this stuff I look at averages of shows, attendance and take cost into it too then see a more apples to apples comp

Almost 800,000 people went to see "Hugh Jackman"? Weird.

Dude is crushing it now. I used to not have any respect for him but he has changed personally and is more connected to the music then I have ever seen.
