MusicToday Issues (Big Surprise, huh?)

I just received the following email.....

Thank you for purchasing DMB's latest release, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. It has come to our attention that you were incorrectly shipped the Regular CD version instead of the Deluxe CD/DVD version of Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. We wanted to first apologize for that error, and also inform you that we will be shipping the Deluxe version out to you in the next few days. Additionally, you may keep the Regular CD we originally sent at no cost to you. Please, let us know if you have any further questions or concerns regarding your order.

I'm extremely frustrated with Musictoday. First, I upgraded my shipping to Standard Expedited yet I received the album just yesterday. They sent it via UPS Ground (on what planet does that count as anything but standard shipping?). Secondly, they sent me the wrong CD! I didnt realize it until AFTER I opened the CD I received, which is lame since now I'm stuck with two of the exact same CDs. And this is a company that runs the exclusive music distribution for one of the biggest jam bands of our time?

Did this happen to anybody else or am I just unlucky?

Sort of. He could have bought the CD for $10 at Best Buy on June 2nd, that $10 bucks nearly being covered by the difference in shipping costs.

Yep - shipping and handling was $14 for me. The actual cost to send a 1lb package via UPS Ground? Like $2 maybe????

I paid for delivery on the 2nd, received the CD on the 5th, and still didn't get the free Live Trax. This isn't the first time they've done this to me but it is the last.

They still haven't shipped my Live in Vegas CD. It's nothing but excuses with these Jag-Bags, and they charge you a month in advance... before they ship it.
It's seriously been like 7 years of F-ups.

MusicToday...Should be "Music when our call center full of morons feels like sending it to you, if in fact, we send you what you ordered."

A lot of the roads in C'Ville are still covered in snow, I'm sure that's part of the problem. My little sister has had one day of school the last two weeks because the county can't keep up with all the snow.

I'm still waiting on mine too BTW, this one is just out of their hands.

i paid standard shipping so i'll get vegas whenever. if i had paid a lot more, yeah, i'd be upset too. so i agree with you.

possibly if the people bitching in this thread would mention which shipping they chose, i wouldn't think they were quite as ridiculous.

They should move the merch warehouse to Australia where it is hot with no snow and closer to my home so i dont have to wait a month to get any MusicToday parcel ,seeing as they send them via Switzerland!
