Two actors cast in the Amazon Dark Tower series, presumably the roles of Roland and Flagg. The actor playing Roland is like 25. I'm not sure what that means for what timeline the story will start at.

How are you making sure you're getting true first editions? For example I was looking for The Institute, both B&N and Amazon have it for preorder. Are they going to be the same edition?

Saw Pet Sematary over the weekend. Overall, I enjoyed it. The cast was great. I wish they had spent more time building the relationship between Louis and Jud, it's such a big part of the book. As far as the giant change they made, I loved it. It made the last 30 minutes of the movie very interesting. I'm not sure you need to see it in the theater, but I recommend checking it out if you're a fan of the book or first movie.

if roldan is played by a guy that is 25, maybe it iwll adapt the graphic novels which were a prequel, it showed roland as a teen, it seemed like it was set in a post apocalyptic future wasteland

Saw the new Pet Sematary. I liked the twist on the big twist. The ending was sad, but obviously not as shocking as the original.

What did you think of it? I like the idea of the book but so far not much has happened.

It was probably close to 25 years ago that I read it, but like all of his other books I was compelled to keep going. Unfortunately I remember the movie of it with the dad from My Big Fat Greek Wedding more than I do the book at this point.

Thinner and The Dead Zone were the first two books of his I ever read.

I reread Thinner a couple years ago. I don't like it. It's a mean story.

I'm about 75% through 11/22/63 and really enjoying it. Have had the book for years just never got around to reading the thing. Should I watch the show after I finish the book?

Just finished the book and the show...I would say watch the show just to watch it but don't expect much

Yes, the show is good - but as usual doesn't touch the book.

That book is probably my second favorite of his behind The Stand.

I finished 11/22/63 yesterday and absolutely loved that book. It also had one of the best endings King has ever written, maybe the best ending. Started getting a little choked up reading the last few pages.

I think I am going to dive into the Mr Mercedes trilogy next. I haven't read much King over the last few years (really haven't read much at all) but I have those books so that should get me through this summer. Then I'll get to The Outsider and should be ready for The Institute when it's released.

    It really is so good.

Finished the Hulu series last night. I think I would've liked it a lot more if I hadn't read the book. There were several changes/omissions/additions that I didn't like. It didn't have the same feel as the book.

The new IT Chapter 2 trailer is excellent. I thought the first movie was just okay, better than the TV mini-series from the 90's, but didn't scrape the book at all.

But the 2 trailers have me hyped.
