Butch added a whole different dynamic to this band, but LeRoi brought so much soul as well. These 2 musicians are very missed. Its not that this band now is bad, its just different. When I talk to my friends about DMB I always say DMB with Butch is great to listen to when your at home. DMB with Tim is great to see live. But you can't have it both ways.

Great show in Atlanta tonight. The rain held off until right after the band finished the set. It is now pouring out there and the people headed out of the venue are probably getting drenched. The band opened the show with Too Much, which has taken on a distinctly different feel this year. They're so "into it" that they came back and closed the encore with the Too Much outro. We're headed further south for a few shows in Florida. See y'all in Tampa on Thursday.

it's been a good year for releases

LT41 is amazing, one of my favorite LTs
DMBLive Europe is cool
Live 25 is a terrific compilation
LT42 is solid, has some good highlights
LT43 is an all around strong show mixed well, just what an LT should be
WH disc was kind of whatever but the People People was really cool to hear

Can't wait to see what LT44 will be

This may have been mentioned before but haven't backread. Interesting that it lists Rashawn as a special guest on the inside liner notes, even though he wasn't there.

So good! It made me think that they could give the song a Seek Up type intro with a long, dynamic sax solo. (At least that would have been cool in 04 before the trumpet and sax started soloing at the same time).

Hmm, that is interesting
