Dave said during the Farm Aid stream that he was in Cville recording with Carter. Presumably, he was talking about Haunted Hollow (he mentioned a wooded area) and the video seemed to show a wood/forest setting. Exciting that they are writing together.

Meant to post that too! That him and Carter were working together. Would be awesome to get a new album for Summer 2021. Even if they can't tour next year, I'll take it.

So I listened to 12/8/00 today, first time listening to that full show. I not only think it's DMB's most underrated live show, but I think it's one of their best shows period. Such a great set and performance.

Dave just played a virtual event for John Hickenlooper. He played:

His voice was real smooth. Couldn't tell if he was in Seattle or C-ville though; he didn't say and it was kinda hard to tell... it was on a porch somewhere (different from the Farm Aid one).

I've spent the last couple days diving into all the Branford Marsalis guest spots from 2015.... and man.... that guy brings out the best in this bad. Highly recommend giving those a listen if you haven't before. What he does to Lover Lay Down is next level. Even his guest spot on Tampa Jimi (a place a lot of people do well, but dont seem to mesh) turns into a nineteen minute behemoth without a bad second.

I know this means nothing but there hasn't been much news lately so I'm definitely overthinking it but Mark Batson liked two tweet regarding the Baton Sessions recently.

This song made me think of "Early Home" from the Batson Sessions. Would be great to hear it finished!
