OK, can we talk why the fuck gas cans suck? It's impossible to find one that has a "simple" unscrew top. They all have this "safe pour" or "anti child" top bullshit. I don't want any of this. Just give me a fucking regular gas can. Fuck you safety pour bullshit.

A few years back I was working a contract gig, we'd rent anywhere from 15-40 gators, kubota's, etc, + a few forklifts, atv's and some other odd vehicles and we carried around about two dozen gas cans to fuel them back up. The new safety ones fucking BLOW. We'd inevitably either not be able to empty the cans, or it would spill all over the spout, or both. We cherished the old style ones like fucking gold. I understand the "safety mechanisms" built into the new ones, I get it. But they are absolutely terrible to use, and aren't any safer as we'd repeatedly be spilling either diesel or regular all over the ground every time we fueled up anything.

Didn’t always work with the way some of the gas caps were situated. Sometimes we’d find an empty water bottle and cut the bottom off and use that. Sometimes we didn’t have one.

Most of the time, yes. Still a PITA though, and didn’t always work. Springs would break or they’d get stuck closed due to dirt getting in the mechanism or whatever.

For regular home use where you’re storing them In your shed and just filling up your mower weekly or whatever they’re fine. For industrial use they suck donkey dick.

First time I ran out of gas and used one of those nozzles I needed help from some dude in the church parking lot.

I'm following an adequate amount behind. I think half a car length in a fucking parking garage is acceptable. Also, literally thirty other spots are open for you to freely pull into.

Half a car length is like 6 feet. Following that closely in such closed quarters is irresponsible, and you’re not providing enough room for people to back in.

You’re going to have to reverse your vehicle at some point in the parking process. Might as well do it while you have a clear line of sight and can make it happen in one straight spot, instead of inching out like a dickhead moving your head back and forth a thousand times to check for cars and pedestrians.

Got knocked out of men's doubles in the quarterfinals of this tournament 6-4, 6-2. Turns out the kids that beat us were on the Baylor Club Tennis team that went to nationals a few years back. Why does that matter? Well, they don't have a computer rating (based on match results). They self-rated at this level, but according to the rules, that level of success in college club tennis requires a self-rating TWO levels higher than what they rated. They should have been playing in the Open division, not 4.0.

Sandbagging to keep your computer rating lower is one thing (still not cool, but it happens) but this is just straight up cheating.
