With the cab situation difficult, I was wondering if any Ants will be driving from the restaurant to the venue? I will be getting a ride to the restaurant and will not have a car. Thanks in advance. I'm sure i can buy you a couple rounds at Mike's restaurant for all your troubles!

Just a quick update:
We may have some radio station coverage from our local Hartford rock station 104.1. Stay tuned for that info...

Also-Lots of you have been asking about taxi service. I am working on that, I promise! One of my bartenders moonlights as a shuttle service to the NYC airports and although he will be working that day, his wife may be able to do a shuttle to and from the Oakdale before and after the show for a small fee (I'm thinking around $5 or so a person). So that's good news!

Also, I have about 8 tables or so left for Ants reservations. Please email me ASAP to reserve with a guest count and time!!!

Put me down for this shindig, plus at least one guest. I'll be driving from the restaurant to the venue. I'm probably not going to arrange anything ahead of time, but I'm sure I'll end up giving a ride to as many friendly Ants as I can fit in the car, especially the ones that buy me a beer.

Hey Everyone-
I have a guy that works for me that is willing to use his fan to taxi people to/from the venue. Probably only like $10 round trip per person. He will pick up at varying times from the restaurant and after the show do the same. His van seats 6 at a time so if there are enough people interested, we can do multiple runs about 20 minutes apart.

Traffic to the venue is a BITCH just to let you know. We know a back roads way in which will speed things up a lot though....it's secret though!

Please let me know if anyone is interested so I can get a feel of who would want this.

I appreciate the help on the tickets! It's not that I can't shell out the money for the expensive tickets, it's really the point of it. I can't see spending over $150/person when I've seen DMB 7 times already this year. I really want to go, don't get me wrong, I'm just pissed about the whole "ticket brokers getting all the tickets and jacking up the prices" thing and I wouldn't want you guys to give the money to them. Not sure I'm saying this correctly...

I highly recommend our transportation to and from the venue as there is really only one main way into the venue and the traffic sucks! Our way, you can stay here and chill longer (ie- drink) and we have a secret way into the venue that won't take much longer than 10 mins.
I'm thinking, if necessary, one shuttle at 6:30 and come back for another trip at 7.
