Mike (i think you said your name is Mike), sorry to hear that you were unable to scoop tix. I hope i speak for everyone when i say id be happy to pay a reasonable cover. You're throwing a party for all of us animals and some of the extra cash that you make from a reasonable cover charge could help offset the cost of having to go stubhub or other scalper if your still trying to get tix for the show.
I think that its the least that we could do as fellow ants to help you out for throwing us a great time at your restaurant

What if the cover went to the cost of two tickets off a third-party site (or any tickets found here)? I'm now in the building, via Stubhub. I wouldn't have considered getting the ticket, but it was extremely reasonable, especially for my seat.

Surely the collective can assist in such a situation.

i think its the least we could do. He is being nice enough to organize this all at his place and show us all a great time. Its alot of work....even if he doenst charge cover maybe we could make some sort of donation or something

I am blown away by the generosity of the Ant community, thanks everyone!!!!! Never had so many people come to help me like this....for anything before. It's a pretty cool feeling...so thank you all sincerely.
Who knows what will happen between now and then, maybe I'll get lucky and I will find a pair of tickets somehow. If not, I am very humbled by the fact you all are coming to my rescue. I am working hard at making the day a great time for everyone.
I've gotten a few emails for table reservations from some of you, if I haven't replied, I will. I would recommend reserving a table with the time you are arriving so I can be sure everyone has a seat and I know about how many people to expect.

Everything is coming together nicely. So far, along with the Happy Hour menu I originally attached, we will be doing an Angry Orchard and Samuel Adams Boston Lager special for $3 pints of each. Samuel Adams will be doing giveaways for T-shirts, hats, coozies, keychains, pint glasses and other stuff. We will be raffling off a grand prize of a really cool rustic, stand alone wood cooler from Angry Orchard. I just got it today and it's really awesome!
We'll have D&T DVD's showing all over the bar and upstairs with DMB music all day.

We have 12 drafts on tap. They currently are:

Samuel Adams Winter Lager
Guinness
Harpoon IPA
Bud Light
Bud
Blue Moon
Angry Orchard "Crisp Apple" Hard Cider (amaaaaaaazzzzzing!!!!)
Kona Pipeline Porter (this line changes weekly)
Samuel Adams Double Pumpkin (this line also changes weekly)
Bluepoint Toasted Lager
Olde Burnside "Ten Penny Ale" (CT local brewing company)
Olde Burnside "Dirty Penny Ale"

I am a big craft beer guy so I change up two line frequently, I call them the "Lobster Drafts".

I am able to reserve tables for Ants members at this time. Please contact me ASAP to reserve a table with your name and the time you will be arriving at wallingford@westbrooklobster.com

Some have been asking about a taxi service to the Oakdale. There really isn't a good one unfortunately. But, it is only a 7 minute drive up the street. Sooo...even with a little bit of a buzz you should be fine (you DID NOT hear that from me! haha.)

I have printed directions to the Oakdale in house, it's a piece of cake.

Still is 21+, sorry.

No cover!

Still no luck on tickets for me yet, but the prices are dropping significantly everyday so I am sure I will be ok.

Help! I have two warehouse VIP Connecticut tix I would trade for two Warehouse VIP NY tix. Or vice-versa. The problem is I have two Warehouse VIP tix for each show, and I need to have four Warehouse ViP tix for one show. I'll be there, and am going to the show alone. You can hitch with me. Hell, if you're taking the train up Saturday morning, I can even get you and return you (I live in New Haven, not far from the train station).

I'm going to both shows alone (it's my own celebration for the end of student teaching...I'm going to get some great videos), so I don't mind whatsoever. Just contact me if you wish.
