I've been skimming through some of the recent conversation. This band needs a rebound album in the worst of ways. Welcome Home and J+H could be combined to make a killer album, but each has their duds. This Sir Rosevelt shit needs to stop. It's absolutely terrible.

For my money, their best full album was Uncaged and if you could just tack on the Grohl Sessions, it's the best era for the best to date.

I can't think of a band that showed such promise and then nosedived into such shit in such a short period of time. OAR maybe?

I really thought their music was going to take off into something great after the Grohl Sessions. Instead, their next album was a mess, and their most recent album was a snoozer. Really have no interest in them anymore, unfortunately. Their older stuff is still great but I won't waste money seeing the live anymore.

Glad I saw them right after Uncaged came out. Still one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Saw them at Coors Field on Friday. They still put on a great show. Not sure about the new music, one of the tunes is solid, the rest not so much. I had a good time. Not sure what to expect on this new album though.

Saw them at Bethel in June. It was my 3rd time seeing them. It wasn’t a horrible show but by far my least favorite. They stopped playing around 10:30, weather was great so there was no threat of storms or anything. And the shitty encore...... Hot for teacher, Pour some sugar on me, Bulls on Parade. I’m not against covers but that was too much for me.

Can't think of another artist in recent memory whose releases over time have gotten successively worse and worse. The last halfway decent think they put out was Jekyll & Hyde, and even that started to drift into this weird techno/electro driven crap. I've said it in this thread a bunch before, but they should have proceeded along the path they started on with The Grohl Sessions. That's probably the best music they've ever made.

Why the fuck is Zac Brown trying to rap on some of these songs? Absolutely horrid. Will not listen to this album ever, ever again.

It's definitely more "poppy"..? "Finish What We Stated" and "Leaving Love Behind" aren't too bad. "God Given" is awful and I think they made it due to "Country Road" and "The Git Up" craze.

Overall, this new album is garbage. It has a couple moments, but will ultimately skip these songs if they get shuffled in on my playlist. Between these new songs and all the covers they play, I doubt I will be wasting any money on show tickets for them anytime soon. Hope they get their magic back, but they're really losing me (I have been a big fan since 2009 or so - Zamily membership since 2012). Almost feel like they are more content being rich celebrities than respected artists.

This album is plain awful. I don't understand how anyone who likes ZBB or just good music in general can enjoy this. It's hard to think that the band that made Colder Weather, Sweet Annie, Martin, etc. could produce this garbage.
