Practice rounds, opening ceremony, some celebrity event. The difference in price between the practice rounds and the actual matches was crazy. 150-->450+. I imagine the last day they'll all be out there. Can't wait to see the course too.

You don’t see it much.

The place that alters my pants stocks Greyson, and they had a ton of khaki stuff in the fall line. I think khaki looks great with maroon and olive green. Might see EVR, JT, and Higgs in it this fall.

Bryson talking about how messed up his hands are from long drive training this morning.

I don’t have a problem with what Brooks says. There are some guys on the US Squad who just want to play and don’t care about the rest. I expect us to win pretty easily next week, and struggle 2 years from now in Europe. That cycle will repeat as long the host can set up the course to their liking.

Just bought 2 SUN tickets on their official secondary market for $200/each. Land at MDW at 7am on SAT (no rental cars at MKE) and drive the 150 miles to Whistling Straits. Possibly go to SAT too if prices come down, then back out of MDW on MON at 9am; miss no work (not that that matters). Realize it won't be great for viewing the actual play with the crowds, but we'll walk the course in the morning before the first pairing goes out at 11am; then see what we can see, and stay for the celebration either way.

Ryder Cup is one of, if not the, only time I'll cheer for the USA. I expect them to roll to an easy win, but realistically it will be tight tight tight. Looking forward to my favourite event. I'm playing Friday so won't get to watch but I should catch most of the weekend sessions.

I’m not very familiar with Stricker, but his vibe during the presser was “I cannot believe I have to deal with these assholes on my team”. Paddy seemed happy to be there.

Seeing the forecast makes me like my prediction of the US winning easy feel very doubtful.

Yeah, a lot of these older guys hooked it up in the late 90s when there was less money in the game. Westy and Sergio got hooked and rehooked later when they were flush. The others might have pulled the trigger too soon.
