Met the whole band in 2002 in Boston. My buddy had Butch record his voice mail for him haha! Those shows were great btw...first you never know and they brought back the heartbeat intro for the first time in forever. 4/7 and 4/8 2002

Met Boyd several times. Finally met Dave after the Dallas show this year.

Just Boyd at West Palm 2013 at his meetup. Those were cool, I wish he still did them. Some people of course take it a little too far and are a little wild, but 95% of everyone is extremely calm, relaxed and respectful.
I was shocked to see people had met Dave at Orange Beach post show. I tried in Tuscaloosa but the backstage area was unapproachable, really. |

Met Dave while waiting outside for tickets before the Syracuse Dave and Tim show in '99. Met Stefan at a meet and greet in Boston in 2010. Got to interview Boyd in person in 2012. They were all great encounters and the guys couldn't have been nicer. I've also interviewed Tim and Jeff on the phone but haven't officially met them.

Managed to meet the whole band outside their hotel a couple times. Met Rashawn hanging out downtown Indianapolis. The first year Jeff was playing with the band, I watched him get into a minivan and follow the tourbuses to the venue...without anyone saying anything to him. No one recognized him. Haha.

Met Tim back in 2005 at a show of his in Cincinnati... tiny little bar (solo show) with maybe 20-25 people there? Offered to buy him a drink and he just had me get him a glass of milk.
Met Rashawn in the F&F Lounge at DC a couple years back. He was back there with his Dad and was very nice. |

Hugged Boyd for 45 seconds outside a deli at 2:45 AM at a gathering. One of the funniest and weirdest experiences of my life. Boyd gave me a hot sauce packet from his Taco Bell.

Worked backstage at Tinley in 2003. Dave, Leroi, Stefan, Boyd all said hi to me at various points of the day, no handshakes or anything. We weren't supposed to talk to the acts. Carter gave me a drumstick before the show and shook my hand though. Met Tim and Jeff in CVille in 2016.

opened for tim about ten years ago, he was super rad. stood next to carter at reading jazz fest and said "thanks" after he played a tribute to weather report. stefan RT'd my comment "i want to see dave stefan tim and carter go on the road as a four piece rock band" lol

I got Buddy to go "oh yea, you like that?" at C'ville N1 after I nodded to him from the rail in an affirmative manor post harmony singing. Dude crushed it, and I was drunk. Met Tim once at one of his shows.
