Was wondering the same thing. My son's first show, he had a sign for Carter and was close to the stage at the end of the show trying to grab one. One of the crew members game him a guitar pic tho.

Damn, that is a bummer. Wonder if Carter was just done for the night and wanted to head to the bus. Took my son to Hartford in 2016, we had pit, put him up on my shoulders and Carter waved us down to the rail to hand my son a pair of sticks.

Dave’s guitar tease is 1000% Two Step, I thought Carter’s drum tease was Halloween also but that was more wishful thinking. After Captain I was really ready for anything E2.

Yea I agree. Granted, for just one show I'd like front and center but to wait in line at 8am for it? I'd be embarrassed. I'd be more than happy heading to the venue for an hour prior to the show to experience that, however - i showed up 20 min prior and was about 15 feet from the stage, almost dead center.

Anyways - I think there comes a point in some people's lives where they've seen too much. I had a pair of girls sitting next to me at Mansfield that were transported directly from 1996. Given some of the things they were saying, I'd be willing to bet that they gave up job promotions, true love, building a family, and not taking the opportunity to move out of their parents house all for the devotion they still put into this band.

I guess I can see not why they feel entitled to 5th row dead center every year lol

Def teased it but not on key with the actual song - a few random chords - similar to how they did that off-key satellite intro a few years back.

Then Carter did that drum thing like the beginning of Say Goodbye

I'm wondering when they will play it - the two step chant was pretty clear lol

Off key is a stretch, he uses the actual chords of the song in a funky order before transitioning into the first three chords without the real strumming pattern...very similar to the intro he uses in Radio City.

I listened to the tape... It was definitely an off key Two Step tease. Like Titotimmy said, Radio City style. Idk if they were responding to chants but Carter definitely played the similar intro to Say Goodbye too. Hopefully this is a sign for things for the rest of the tour.

I was in the pit and didn't hear anyone chanting two step but I was kinda busy with some assholes.

I too thought I heard a small tease and when Carter went into "Say Goodbye" I thought that was going to turn into Halloween
