I agree. Those 2012 sets were hot garbage.

In fairness to the 2012 tour, Spacebread only happened 8 times in 42 shows, and Time Bomb was only played 11 times. Eh Hee and Mercy plays were out of control, though, as were Seven, Jimi Thing, Y&M, and SMLAM plays.

Spacebread and Timebomb haven't even shown their face this year have they?

Eh Hee and Mercy are uncommon this tour, as are Seven and Jimi Thing.

Y&M and SMLAM are too frequent still, but all the above are definitely positive things to think about.

Because the album sounds much better than the songs do when played live. It doesn't touch the big 3 or BS/tLWS but it's a decent album. I like it more than AFTW and stand up.

Still telling when people put that album year in the bottom 3. If that album was worth anything it would at least be little higher imo

I'm probably in the minority but I prefer AFTW way more than BWGK. I'm so burnt out on BW, I could never hear another song off that album for another ten years and not miss it.

AFTW is solid. Squirm is really the only song form BW that I hope for at shows.

I really enjoy the long jam at the end of So Damn Lucky. I mean, I totally understand why so many people dont/got tired of it, but at one show (6/16/12) everything just came together and I enjoyed the shit out of it, and have loved it since.

I enjoy it. I was there the first time they did the extended outro at Hartford 2008, and it was completely impromptu. No wailing or BS Thank You outro, just an extra 5 minutes of them jamming.

So Damn Lucky with the extended outros was a fantastic encore closer (especially compared to some other songs that are closing encores these days...)

i like BW more than aftw.

that being said, there's not a song on either that I ever want to see live again.

I'd be happy, no elated, if I never heard DMB do a cover song again. Not that I don't like some of them, I do. Would just prefer more space for original material since I will never love a majority of songs released in the last 10 years.

I really actually hate hearing Two Step close a show/set in the song's current form. A crunchy-sounding guitar-led version of a song that used to be sweet and (more) subtle (than it is now) is not how I want my show to end.

I'll agree with your unpopular opinion and add to it. I'd like to see DMB not close the show/set with: Ants Marching, What Would You Say, Two Step, Tripping Billies, Too Much, Stay, Rapunzel, Grey Street, Shake Me Like A Monkey, or any cover, for an entire tour.

3) Stay as a closer makes me want to run out of the venue and get a burger ... Should it have the opposite effect
4) I'm obsessed with belly belly nice and think it should be segued into billies or vice versa
5) I think the song busted stuff may have a better bass line than crush (if that's possible)
6) I love jimithing
7) I care very little for gravedigger, a Grammy, really ... cmon
8) Halloween is just ok
9)I like the riff, but think it just doesn't work live

AFTW is #5 for me after the big 3 and BS and it's not really close, especially studio wise. I really like it.

That's exactly how it sits for me too. The big 3 are interchangable depending on what mood I'm in.

Live Trax 11 is a bottom 10 live trax for me. Despite the great setlist, there's barely any energy and the performances aren't good.

And oddly enough, it's one show after Live Trax 3 which is my favorite live trax
