Interesting. I've been on it twice and loved it. Also never heard anyone complain about it and I've lived in Seattle for 26 years.

    Thanks!

    -

Lawn 3 day pass is $250ea

seats are a bit crazier so would quote per day. and will give you some examples

    Fri
    (4) 204 row 7 $185ea
    (6) 103 row 16 $250ea
I have a killer VIP box that comes with vip club for ac and easy to get to bathrooms $300ea

    Sat
    (4)205 12 $210ea
    not many in 100 level (2) 103 20 $270ea
VIP Box only (3) left $350ea

    Sun
    (4)205 4 $190ea
    not many 100 level (2) 101 15 $200ea
    VIP Box $400ea

If you can swing VIP box thats the best they are on 100 level and dead center.
if you take 6 vip box fri and sun and 3 on Sat. I will do all for $300ea. Then can grab 3 seats or lawn for other 3 on Sat.
Avoid section 205 like the plague...maybe 204 as well. Heck, 103 can be pretty bad too; here's the far outside of that exact row, the black seats:

I'm guessing this will be one of the most cancelled Gorge trips; our group will be cancelling unless the SPAC shows are amazing. I bet lots of tickets will become available soon.

Deer Creek was damn good. I expect the Gorge to be better. Spac wont be much different from deer creek so. . . .

Let me know if you have some N2's to get rid of.

Looking at all my camping gear and exactly what I will be needing. I am flying out solo so I only need my small tent for myself. I know I will need shade but don't want to fly out with my EZ up and don't want to buy one there because it's more than I need.

Looking at small shade tents like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Tra...elter/55208713

Anybody have experience with these? Any suggestions on a certain model or tent?

I planned on that as well. I always find shade with someone when camping but it would be nice to have my own little shade spot as well

It just didn't do anything for us. Felt like we were just walking through a few random basements. For Seattle history, I enjoyed the Ride the Ducks tour a lot more.

Make sure you check the wind rating. It can really blow up there and if they aren't rated to handle much wind they won't last long.

I know it probably varies every year ... but typically, what is the temperature for the shows once the sun goes down? Is it cold? Just figuring out what we should pack for our first time (my wife gets cold in the summer sometimes, so I know she needs to be prepared).

I'm a big giant Texas baby about cold, so maybe take this with a grain of salt, but it gets fucking cold when the sun goes down. I bring a backpack with jeans, longsleeve shirt and a hoodie, and I'm usually still cold. I'm packing thermals this year.

That sounds like my wife. She wore a sweatshirt in Orlando one summer night a long time ago!

I just didn't want to show up and be the idiot wearing shorts and start freezing. I've seen the videos online and can sort of tell what people are wearing, I just didn't know if that was an isolated instance, or the norm.

This will be my first time at the Gorge and I believe the veterans about the temps, but I've been watching the weather app for Quincy and I've never seen the night time temps dip below 60 and it's usually mid to upper 60s as the low. That's not cold to me. Does the Gorge have its own sort of microclimate? I'm planning to wear jeans and bring a sweatshirt and just purchased a DMB ❤️ beanie so I'll definitely be prepared.

It is basically the desert so the sand and rocks do not hold the heat, also the openness of the area allow winds to move through quickly which is also due to temperature changes.

Learned my lesson after freezing my ass off N2 2014. Always bring jeans and a sweatshirt.

If your wife gets cold even in the summer time bring warm everything. Yes when the sun goes down it gets cold/colder as far as the show is concerned jeans and a long sleeve/hoodie will be good. But if your staying and camping/sleeping on site that’s where you really need to be prepared. Buffalo winters if you haven’t heard or know of are freezing cold literally with extra snow. Gorge 2016 sleeping in a tent even with an air mattress 2 feet off the ground,I was shivering cold thank G I had socks and pants and hoodies and blankets for days but it was still COLD. Coming from buffalo it blew my mind bc it’s not like I’m from a warmer place and just felt cold if that make sense. Enjoy everything about the gorge have fun and good luck!!

My concern is that at every venue I go to these days, they won't allow bags in because of "security". You can bring in like one small clear bag and that's it.

Not sure how I'm going to bring all my extra clothes in if Gorge won't let me bring a bag.

I’m from MI and an used to the cold

I’ve needed a hat/beanie /gloves , warm socks, thermal layers, windbreaker etc every year. At least after the sun goes down and at night.

    That was two years ago.

Security at venues has changed a lot just this year.

Hopefully we can still bring stuff in but what I think he’s saying is hopefully they aren’t tightening down at the Gorge

Looks like I am heading out there solo this year, I have everything booked except my flight. What are people recommendations for the flight? I'm looking on Southwest and most flights are crazy expensive compared to American and Delta on the discount sites.

Do not book on those discount sites unless you get off by waiting on hold on the phone. If you book through the airline and something goes wrong the airline has employees there to help you. If you book through Expedia/kayak/whatever other shit site there is, the airline employees cannot so anything and all you can do is call whoever you booked with.

I suppose you could email them, too, but you get my point.

I'm a Canadian and it was fucking freezing in 2016 at night. Bring layers, blankets, toque (translation: winter hat) socks, even gloves!

Better to bring a few extra things and be warm.

To be fair, 2016 was the coldest Gorge I've ever experienced, but regardless, it's best to come prepared.
