SIAP what is your favorite lyrics so far on AFTW?

Don't know if it's my favorite, but I can't get "That's not a star, that's a sateliite" out of my head AT ALL.

"I'm gonna build you a fire from the bones of who I used to be", the bridge in Rooftop, and all Sweet stand out to me so far.

But Broken Things, Sweet, The Riff, and Snow Outside all have A+ lyrics throughout to me.....the weakest are in Gaucho's chorus I think. But lyrically overall, this album is good, not fantastic though. Musically it is phenomenal to me. Just a notch below BTCS and close to or on par with tLWS, Crash, and UTTAD.

^^i wasn't reading the lyrics as I listened the first time as I usually do and that line in Rooftop immediately jumped out at me. I personally think Snow is the best song he's written in years. and by years I mean since LWS

I read your quote as Dave trying to kill dreams and forget people, but I am pretty sure he would like more time to preserve both. Probably just being overly nit-picky, but i'm probably also from the internet

Is this a joke? hahaha. Do people really think these are good lyrics? I really love Rooftop, but this line makes me cringe every time. It sounds so adolescent and cheesy. In my opinion they are the worst on the album.
