Has anyone camped at glow pod down the road from the venue? Just looking for opinions on the campground. Also, how difficult is it to catch an Uber to and from the show? Thanks!

Deer Creek has a long, great-standing reputation for being a venue where bands put on some of their best shows

VIP parking is $125 on LN website. I can't remember if that's inflated pricing or standard from years past. And aren't there different parking tiers?

VIP is different from premium. I think premium runs about $30

Any real advantage to the premium parking over the standard free?

You get a dedicated lane to exit the show and the lot is a little closer to the west side entrance though if you are upfront in the main lots early, it's a negligible difference. I've always done the free parking. Sometimes I get out pretty much right away. Other times it can take about 30 minutes.

I’ve waited for well over an hour a few times but the blue lot, is the lot to be in for a quick exit - the one in the gravel.

If you get stuck in the orange lot, which is behind the lawn, you’re fucked.

8-11-2002. Single craziest crowd I've been a part of at a show and on a Sunday no less. From the Seek Up to the end.

2005... the Thriller RR Jam into Watchtower as a thunderstorm started to roll in. Not the greatest show, but had one of the greatest moments.

2006 - The #40 and Dreaming Tree moments, never mind they were amazing shows. IOY Debut this weekend too.

N2 2012 - What a great show. Extended FTT, blow out Two Step... almost had a Triple Encore Minarets/Halloween/Billies if they had followed the setlist.

    2015 - Let You Down N1 first since 97

2016 - Longest ever performance of Ants Marching to end the show and Boyds last performance here.

Thats all of the top of my head, say nothing for all of the at minimum super solid shows with really great crowds.

FIRST SHOW: N2 2005. Decent show, nice little intro to Deer Creek. Did not prepare me for . . .

BEST SHOW: N1 2006. Had the full Dead Creek Campground experience at the ripe age of 19. Walked to the venue buzzing and witnessed a damn near perfect show (yes, they played Hunger for the Great Light. Oh well, it's quick).

SNEAKY GOOD: N1 2013. Really enjoyed the setlists early this tour, and this night had a lot of my favorites.
Thanks for the reminder on this one. I popped it in while working this morning and just a solid show from start to end.

That was a crazy storm! I ended up crowded underneath a restroom overhang for an over hour and a half hoping they wouldnt cancel the show. Lo and behold I hear the beginning chords of JTR and go sprinting back out to the lawn. Definitely takes the cake for my most memorable concert experience.

    Hey Creekers!

I’m hoping to rent a 10-12 person passenger van in the Indianapolis area so we can transport our crew to and from the show and the place we are renting. Ideally pick up the van early Friday and return Sunday morning.

Any suggestions/ideas? I’ve tried looking at some of the larger rental companies online and none seem to have passenger vans available for those dates, just regular cars.

Thanks for any and all feedback!

This mid set Watchtower blew me away. We missed Gary’s opening set waiting to get into the venue and were pretty bummed. That more than made up for it.

I used to work in the rental industry, I would say there is a good chance you are out of luck renting from any of the major rental car companies. I would suggest call rather than search online and speak to actual branch employees (not reservation team members.)

I know dealerships will sometimes rent those things out as a side hustle, so you could potentially call local Ford or Chevy dealers to see if they do anything like that. I know some would compete with us in the area I managed.

Have you thought of more of a party bus idea? Maybe pricey but with rental prices being nutty it may be about the same.

Just no car during the day then
