1. We spent a lot of time yesterday talking about Ilhan Omar and anti-Semitic tropes.

Can we spend 2 minutes talking about Duncan Hunter, who is still a Congressman because of his brazenly bigoted anti-Muslim smear campaign against his opponent?

2. Hunter ran a TV ad claiming his Dem opponent, Ammar Campa-Najjar, was trying to infiltrate the gov’t on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood so he could give national security secrets to terrorists

Not that it matters, but Campaign-Najjar is a Christian

3. As far as I can tell, Kevin McCarthy, who postured yesterday as a paragon of religious tolerance, never said anything about Hunter’s vile attacks.

This isn’t about religious tolerance for the GOP. It’s political opportunism.

4. I’m all for holding elected officials to high standards. But it should just be a freshman Congresswoman who is held accountable. Powerful Republican men shouldn’t get to play by a different set of rules

Either you don’t t know or you are misleading people about the fact that AIPAC isn’t a PAC so they don’t (can’t) give money directly to candidates so instead they fund 30 different PACs they control that do. And candidates know exactly where the money is coming from and who they owe.

“They get people mobilized to vote” as their primary mission is pretty funny.
